Abstract:Objective To discuss the restoration of defected surface of subgingival residual roots and crowns caused by violence or dental caries with resin post core and titanium alloy ceramic.Methods Full-crown restoration with resin post core and titanium alloy ceramic,whose indications were strictly be paid attention to,was performed on the basis of complete root canal therapy and base tooth preparation.Results According to 1~3 years' clinical follow-up,the success rate of itanium alloy ceramic was 86.57% when it was applied to the restoration of the residual roots and crowns about 3 mm under gingiva.Conclusion Titanium or titanium alloy is of nice histocompatibility,which raised the success rate of subgingival false tooth because of little irritation.
