Abstract:480 eight-day-age broilers were randomly divided into 4 groups and inoculated with 0,4,6,8 doses Newcastle disease vaccine at 12 d and 28 d,respectively, with 6 replicates of 20 broilers each from 8 to 42 d of age. Plasma were analyzed for corticosterone, insulin, glucose, total protein, cholesterol, triglycerides and nonesterified fatty acid in 0 to 48 h after each inoculation. The results showed that Newcastle disease vaccine inoculation decreased daily weight gain and feed conversion ratio from 8 to 21 d (P0.05),while 4 and 6 doses of inoculation reduced feed intake/body weight gain from 21 to 42 d and 8 to 42 d. High level of NDV could alter neuroendocrine, which resulted in immunological stress and tended to decrease body weight gain, but had no effect on plasma metabolite profiles.
