Abstract:Because of its stronger volatility, the menthol was wrapped by β-CD to keep its stability. Through orthogonal test, the optimum condition of inclusion compound were as follows: 1:8 ratio of menthol to β-CD mixed for 6.5h at 60 ℃. The quantity of menthol can be determined by gas chromatography. Both waterbath and the ultrasonic method were used to compare the unchaining effect of inclusion compound.
