Control Effect of Several Novel Fungicides to Potato Late Blight

Abstract:The control effect of several novel fungicides to potato late blight were tested. The results showed that azoxystrobin, dimethomorph and mandipropamid appeared a higher control efficacy to potato late blight on potato leaf discs (EC90 values was 0.4181, 0.5359 and 0.8228 mg/L, respectively), followed by fluopicolide-propamocarb, mefenoxam-mancozeb, dimethomorph-mancozcozeb, mancozeb, cymoxanil-mancozeb, chlorothalonil, cupric hydroxide, fluazinam, and propamocarb. The control efficacy of fluopicolide-propamocarb, mandipropamid and mefenoxam-mancozeb to potato late blight in field was 88.9, 82.7 and 78.9%, respectively, which was signifi cantly higher that of cymoxanil-mancozeb, dimethomorph, azoxystrobin, mancozeb and chlorothalonil. Rotation sprayed of cymoxanil-mancozeb, mefenoxam-mancozeb, fluopicolide-propamocarb and dimethomorph in demonstration plots exhibited higher control effi cacy (90%) to potato late blight than in the farmers spray plot.
