Development of Antiangiogenic Bio-Chemotherapy of Tumor

Abstract:Traditional chemotherapy restrains the growth and the infestation of the tumor by killing the tumor cells. In the study of cytotoxic drugs,we found that most of the drugs could persistently restrain and kill the endothelial cells in the way of low-dose and high-frequency. It is what is said antiangiogenesis bio-chemotherapy now. The theoretical foundation of chemotherapy with the target of EC, is that the tumor can not grow or infest without the new vessels. At present,it has been confirmed that lots of chemotherapy drugs and some active components of the anti-tumor Chinese-medincines produce a marked antiangiogenic effect in vitro or in vivo experiments.
