Abstract:Electrical and electronic experiment teaching is an indispensable and important part of engineering teaching. Oscilloscope is an indispensable experimental instrument in the teaching of these experiments, which is used to measure the electrical signals in the experimental process for analysis and processing. In this paper, a dual-channel virtual oscilloscope was designed based on the PC 16-bit sound card, which could correctly collect electronic signals within ±1V. Through LabVIEW graphical programming and multi-threading technology, these functions such as waveform display, channel selection control, parameter measurement and display, waveform storage and playback were realized. The innovation of this design is that it could automatically generate experimental report, simplifying the tedious operations such as drawing waveforms and filling parameters, finally quickly getting illustrated experimental report. From the test results, it can meet the requirements of daily experimental teaching, and it is of great significance to improve the quality of electrical and electronic experimental teaching.

Abstract:To realize fast and convenient high-speed date acquisition.Basing on the concept of virtual instrument,it is improved on the basic of the traditional oscilloscope and adotping the method of DSP control and 4 AD merging and throughing USB interface to realize the data transmission between hardware and PC.It can up to the standard of single channel 1GS/s and dual channel 500MHz and the bandwidth can reach 100MHz commonly and meet customers' need.This system can greatly reduce the pressure of communication interface when data transmission by combining DSP and FPGA.

Abstract:Based on the PC-DAQ hardware structure and LabVIEW graphical development language,an application of multi-channels virtual oscillographic recorder is presented in order to realize the low cost of signal collection,display and record.By using the technology of dynamic calling and case structure,reading and writing for the attribute node of LabVIEW functions,an oscillographic recorder can be implemented,which can realize multi-channels simultaneous measurement,real-time display and waveform record & reappearance.At the same time,powerful function of multi-cursors synchronous measurement,waveform rolling and waveform calculation can be also supplied.Test results show that,this multi-channels virtual oscillographic record system is a reliable low-cost solution which can obtain accurate test data and work friendly.

Abstract:The scenery of this paper is to design a PC-based Real Time Oscilloscope, called “Qscilloscope”. Qscilloscope is capable to connect a computer with a small device via universal serial bus (USB) port for voltage signal waveform display and alteration. It detects maximum $+{\bf 20 V}$ to minimum $-{\bf 20 V}$ with the input frequency range from 0.1Hz - 1 kHz. Furthermore, it interfaces with host PC via the USB port from 9.6k to 115.2k baud rate. Qscilloscope Software Application is constructed by using Visual Basic. Net for user to interface the device with a well designed Graphic User Interface. It consists of several embedded features such as open, save and print waveform. By changing the scaling properties and graphic properties, users are allowed to modify the input signal to a desired output waveform.

Abstract:Considering the distinct disadvantages such as poor expandable capability and high price of traditional digital signal processor, a PC based instrument was researched and developed according to the digital signal processing principle and computational methods. The article studied the technique of cooperation Matlab with VC++ to achieve analyzing function of the sampling signal. Interaction of dialog box and multiple document technique are investigated to realize the sampling of the signal. By applying the technique of VC calling Matlab, consummated the signal processing function. Designing a controlled experiment to compare the signal processing result of B and K2034 with that of the virtual instrument. Much the same output has proved the correctness of the result and the validity of the virtual signal processing instrument. Experimental application indicated that the system realized the fundamental signal processing function, which is the simulation of B and K2034.

Abstract:To heighten outfield test level for military equipment,a portable outfield test instrument is developed based on the concept of virtual instrument technology,which can test and troubleshoot torpedo fire control system(FCS) out of doors.The test instrument and its function are introduced firstly.Universal serial bus(USB) based hardware architecture makes the system small and light.A user interface application is developed using LabWindows / CVI to achieve a friendly interactive interface,and low level drivers are developed using Visual C++ to realize real time hardware control.Application to outfield test shows that the instrument can raise the testing and troubleshooting efficiency,and in endowed with stable performance and friendly operational interface.The test instrument can satisfy the requirements of autotest and troubleshooting for torpedo FCS,and provide a reliable technical support to the maintenance of torpedo FCS.

Abstract:With the development of the computer technology and digital signal processing technology, virtual technology has become popular. Application of virtual technology in control domain is called virtual device. To verify the effect of the controller, on the basis of system model, the virtual device with approximate input-output characteristics is employed for the system's real-time simulation, achieving the aim of reducing on-spot debugging, enhancing controller's security and improving effect. This paper presents hardware and software designs of a virtual device using DSP chip-TMS320F240, TI Com. and verifies the simulation effect of virtual device through application example.

Abstract:In this paper, hardware module's design of virtual waveform recorder based on PC-bus is presented. It has many features, such as quasi-synchronization sampling, high performance-price ratio, multi-channel and large capacity, and so on. In this design, A/D converter works at the speed as its throughput rate independently of signal frequency. Abstract:The virtual instrument is a new-style instrument based on computer as hardware flat roof. In order to de- sign current virtual instrument with PC's hardware resource,PCI Bus and the interface chip are studied, the method of designing Add-In card is set up base on PCI bus, and the Add-In card of multi-wave signal generator is designed. Experimentation result show:the design method makes use of PCI bus' high speed features, DDS is realized by soft- ware. The signal generator can produce sin, triangle, square, noise, frequency sweep and others complex waves. The virtual multi-wave signal generator can be used to choose wave and to adjust its parameters conveniently and accurate- ly. It has rather strong current.

Abstract:To satisfy the requirement of radar signal acquisition and analysis,a high speed radar signal acquisition card based on PCI bus was designed,on which basis a virtual oscilloscope used to analyze and measure radar signal was developed.The driver is WDM type recommended by Microsoft,and was developed in Driver Studio development environment;the application software was developed in Microsoft Visual Studio.NET2003 with C++.The oscilloscope realized the functions of acquisition control,waveform displaying and signal measurement and analysis.Furthermore,it achieved expanded functions of frequency analysis and redisplaying of the waveform saved at any time,which can't be accomplished by the traditional oscilloscope.Now the virtual oscilloscope has been used in actual radar experiment.

Abstract:It introduces a method of a software development which is based on high speed PC oscilloscope for pulsed magnetic field measurement system. The previous design has been improved by this design, high-speed virtual oscilloscope has been used in the field for the first time. In the design, the automatic data acquisition, data process, data analysis and storage have been realized. Automated point checking reduces the workload. The use of precise motion bench increases the positioning accuracy. The software gets the data from PC oscilloscope by calling DLLs and includes the functions of oscilloscope, such as trigger, ranges, and sample rate settings etc. Spline Interpolation and Bandstop Filter are used to denoise the signals. The core of the software is the state machine which controls the motion of stepper motors and data acquisition and stores the data automatically. NI Vision Acquisition Software and Database Connectivity Toolkit make the video surveillance of laboratory and MySQL database connectivity available. The raw signal and processed signal have been compared in this paper. The waveform has been greatly improved by the signal processing.

Abstract:In this paper, combining with the development situation of virtual oscilloscope instrument and the market demand for high-performance modular instruments, the PXI oscilloscope module is developed. It simply introduces the working principle of hardware, and then detailed description of the development and the realization of hardware driver and API using VC++ 6.0 and LabWindows/CVI. The test results indicate that the oscilloscope module not only implemented the traditional oscilloscope functions but also improved the performance of data processing and display, and that the driver implements the equipment control and operation and completed the data acquisition, parameter measurement, waveform analysis, waveform display and other functions. So it can meet the user’s oscilloscope basic functions and high-speed signal acquisition and processing requirments.
Study on A/D dynamic performance of virtual digital storage oscilloscope

Abstract:A high speed and high resolution virtual digital storage oscilloscope was studied and designed. By means of theoretical analysis and digital simulation, the effect of conditioning circuit noise and sampling clock phase jitter upon A/D dynamic performance was investigated. Accordingly a high dynamic performance virtual digital storage oscilloscope with dual channels was developed, which reaches the sampling speed of 100 MSPS and the vertical resolution of 10 b. The study indicates that conditioning circuit noise and sampling clock phase jitter remarkably affect the dynamic performance, and experiment also shows that conditioning circuit harmonic distortion is an important factor to degrade the system dynamic performance. So the designer should choose the parts with low noise and low harmonic distortion, and additionally optimize the PCB design.
