Abstract:The Yangtze River Delta is the alluvial plain before the longest river in Asia and the largest economic zone in China. It includes Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province and direct-controlled municipality Shanghai. As it is facing the most pressure of environment, resources and population with the rapid economic development, construction of ecological parks that can protect natural environments and restore urban environments are essential. And the protection of wetlands plays the key role in ecological landscape construction where many wetlands, lake areas, riverine areas and coastal areas lie. In recent years, China has devoted more and more attention to the construction of Wetland Ecological Parks with the promulgation of "Assessment Standard of National Wetland Park" and "Construction Regulation of National Wetland Park". Typical cases of wetland ecological parks from Yangtze River Delta area are discussed in this paper, including those from Hangzhou City, Taihu Lake area and Chongming Island. Meanwhile, Hong Kong Wetland Park which is acclaimed in the Asia-Pacific region is used as a reference. The design focus, design ideas and landscape elements, especially ecological design of horticulture are summarized in this research based on field survey. Four main construction principles are put forward in order to provide reference for the ecological protection of similar areas.

Abstract:The paper explains the formation, development process, connotation and characteristics, so as to make it clear that the Wetland Parks are important for the utilization and protection of wetland. The paper also explains in detail the principles, direction and major points of the planning and construction of Wetland Parks. Then finally the writer’s suggestions for the construction of Wetland Park are expressed, and the future of Wetland Park is predicted. More and more widespread concern and attention has been attracted to wetland for its unique and important ecological, social and economic functions. Our country is strengthening the construction of wetland nature reserves, while we actively encourage the local to construct multifunctional Wetland Parks. Wetland Park, cultivates natural assets and expands environmental capacity. It functions in wetland ecosystem services in variety aspects, while it meets the needs of economic development of human society. At the same time, planning and construction of Wetland Parks is the effective and innovative means to create a good urban living environment.

Abstract:Abstract With the development of the social economy, the scale of cities has expanded rapidly, and the urban ecological imbalance has become increasingly severe, which has caused many urban problems. People gradually realise that cities and human beings develop more harmoniously and healthily by building and developing cities on the basis of natural ecology and seeking the harmonious coexistence of ecology and humanity. The results of the sustainable landscape ecological evaluation of Anhui Shilonghu National Wetland Park show that the park has good ecological, social, and economic benefits and functions. The urban ecological environment and social and economic development have a good supporting effect on the park, and its overall evaluation grade is good. Compared with other waterscape parks, the ecological function of urban wetland parks is the most basic and essential function of the landscape. It has multiple functions, such as popular science education and being close to nature and entertainment. Developing wetland ecological experience tourism activities benefits wetland protection and ecologically coordinated, sustainable development. It can also comprehensively improve wetland parks’ ecological, social, and economic benefits.

Abstract:As a new treatment technology,constructed wetland has an important significance and a widely applied prospect in the water environmental protection.It is urgently needed to establish a scientific management system and develop its maintenance technique as the number of the constructed wetland projects increase.It will help to exert the double functions for the beautification of the water(environment) and the human environment.The paper discusses about water level control,flow uniformity maintenance,dike(maintenance),vegetation management,odor control,mosquito control,and wildlife management in the constructed wetland treatment system.It points out the key points in the operation management and maintenance of the system,and will be a reference to establish a perfect(management) system for it in the future.

Planning and design of the urban wetland park should be based on profound understanding of the environmental crisis and thought of sustainable development. On the basis of protection and use of the increasingly-scarce wetland resources, building and improving urban ecological infrastructure, fully respect the natural evolution process of the base environment, integrate organically the regional culture connotation, the local conditions and social customs with waterfront activities, make every effort to enable the entire members of different social classes to share the pleasure and the charm of the wetland. In the light of the above understanding and awareness, this thesis, taking Yixing Tuanjiu Urban Wetland Park for example, discusses the general principles, methods and eco-design strategy as such issues of planning and design of city wetland park.

Abstract:Beginning with the discussion of wetlands, their ecological services and the application of man－ made wetlands, this paper emphasized the significance in the making of wetlands in landscapes. Using the planning of wetlands in the Life Science Park at Zhongguancun as an example, the authors calculated the water balance in the park and the possibility and feasibility in making a man－ made wetland. It is suggested that, to make a wetland ecosystem will not only have significant economic and ecological significance, it will also reduce the use of water to create a pleasing waterscape.

Abstract:Plant furnishings in wetland were explored,in terms of plant selection,mass planting of water plants was proposed for landscaping of water surface,combination of arbors,shrubs and grasses for the terrestrial land.As far as plant furnishing techniques are concerned,color landscape creation of wetland plants was stressed,and combined application of arbors,shrubs and grasses advocated for creating rich spatial hierarchies of terrestrial landscapes.By taking Yuehai National Wetland Park in Yinchuan City for example,general situation and plant furnishings of the park were introduced,problems of the plant furnishings proposed as unitary water plant landscapes,unitary terrestrial plant selection and furnishing.On this basis,plant selection and furnishing in the park was studied to create diversified bio-landscape sequences and also rich landscape types.

Abstract:With the acceleration of the process of urban construction and development, the contradiction between man and nature has intensified, the ecological balance has been broken, and the ecological chain has been interrupted. In recent years, in order to improve the living environment, people have rationally utilized land resources and created a productive landscape. The productive landscape is back to the original, and savors the natural, and the wetland park is an organic combination of ecological wetland and urban park, with strong ecological functions.
