Abstract:Objective:Reference to the risk loop in hospital accreditation spot tracing method, enhancing the management of medical equipment.Methods: By six link as planning, training, implementation, monitoring, feedback, improvement in the spot tracing method to implement the management of medical equipment.Results: Evaluate the risk level of medical equipment by the risk value evaluation, thereby setting clinical equipment training period and mode, and apply the result of training assessment to feedback adjusting ,use monitoring and use effect improving.Conclusion: By preventing and controlling the risk of medical equipment, the original medical management was promoted to a new level, more in line with the requirements of medical service safety and standardized level in hospital accreditation.

Abstract:Objective: To identify and analyze the problems of major medical equipment(class B) allocation and management in China.Methods: National and provincial major medical equipment(class B) regulations were reviewed and compared.Sixteen secondary and tertiary hospitals from three provinces and one municipality were selected and typical investigations and experts meetings were delivered to get in-depth understanding of management status of major medical equipment(class B) allocation and management.Results: Problems of major medical equipment(class B) allocation and management in China included: irrational allocation plan and shortage of allocation in primary-level hospital;low independent research and development level and vacancy of operation personnel management;unclear division of investigation and supervision and insufficient administrative efficiency.Conclusion: Government departments at all levels have issued equipment management policies,which have achieved favorable effect.Continuous efforts of major medical equipment allocation and management should be made.

Abstract:Objective:To improve hospital infection control and management of central sterile supply.Methods:The hospital sterilization and supply center establishes the standard workflow from equipment recovery,equipment cleaning,cleaning cleanliness inspection,device packaging,instrument sterilization to dissemination to strengthen quality monitoring,focusing on staff training,communication and coordination and sector departments.Results:Hospital infection control management level and effectiveness were improved significantly to achieve the integration of resources through saving the capital and operating costs of the relevant sections of the cleaning and disinfection of facilities to avoid re-contamination of surgical instruments on the staff and surroundings.Conclusion:The measures taken are feasible and productive.

Abstract:Objective To explore a medical equipment classiifcation and coding solution that can meet the needs of standardization and information management in the hospital. Methods Based on the analysis of existing national standards, medical equipment classiifcation database was established in the hospital, thereby realizing correspondence between existing national standards. Results With use of the standard medical equipment classiifcation dictionary, the system operator could match the medical equipment name with the standard name. Then, the system could automatically complete the multiple code corresponding and statistical analysis of indexes for each code, which allowed for data exchange, comprehensive inquiry and statistical analysis between the hospital and the subordinate units as well as the subsystems. Conclusion The standardized classification and coding of medical equipment management provided basic conditions for improved management of medical equipment and application of information systems.

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the current situation of allocation and utilization of major medical equipment in China and make policy recommendations.Methods:Literature review and field survey methods were used to achieve the purpose.Results:The utilization of major medical equipment in the inpatients was higher than that in the outpatients.The service amount of CT was the biggest and service amount of major medical equipment decreased from east to west.Utilization efficiency varied among sample provinces(city),and positive detection rate was generally high.Excessive use and under use coexisted.Macro distribution and utilization management need to be improved.Conclusion:The macro-governance policy on major medical equipment should be optimized during the new health system reform.Some mechanisms for major medical equipment should be developed and improved,including distribution,investment,monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract:We compared instrument status, work efficiency, instrument repair, nursing staff satisfaction between the two groups with general management mode and joint commission international (JCI) standard combined with 6S management mode. After the application of JCI standard combined with 6S management mode, the proportion of instances meeting standards for placement, cleaning, maintenance, and record‐keeping was higher than before the application (p 0.05). Objective The medical instruments used in the emergency department have a wide coverage and prominent importance. The study was aimed to observe the effect of joint commission international (JCI) standard combined with 6S management mode in emergency medical equipment. Methods Medical equipment and nursing staff in the emergency department of our hospital were the subjects of the research. We compared the management status (standard placement, good cleaning, good maintenance, complete records) of medical equipment after the application of JCI standard combined with 6S management mode was compared with that before the application. Working time associated with medical equipment, equipment repair ratio, nurses' satisfaction with medical equipment use and management were also compared. Results After the application of JCI standard combined with 6S management mode, the proportion of instances meeting standards for placement, cleaning, maintenance, and record‐keeping was higher than before the application (p 0.05). Conclusion JCI standard combined with 6S management mode can standardize the use of emergency medical instruments, reduce the risk of instrument damage, increase work efficiency, improve nurses' satisfaction with medical instrument management, and are therefore worthy of clinical application.

Abstract:Objective To introduce experience of major medical equipment management of foreign countries and provide reference for the perfection of major medical equipment management in China.Methods Information related to major medical equipment management were collected by browsing web sites of ministry of health or other in charge departments of several development countries and searching related information through Google Scholar search engine.Results The market access system of the Netherlands and Japan,etc,the monitoring and warning system for marketing equipments of EU,the recall mechanism for defective equipments of Canada,and the Certificate of Need System(CON) of the United States are all effective management experience for major medical equipment.Conclusion Management experience of market access system,marketing equipment monitoring and warning system,recall mechanism,as well as government's mandatory review and regulation of equipment configuration procedures can be the reference for the improvement of major medical equipment management in the new round of health reform in China.

Abstract:Objective:To clarify the essence of hospital equipment management and propose the task and development trend of information management need to be accomplished, and solve the bottleneck problem of system design, which is always focused on the process of hospital equipment information management promotion in our country.Methods: Comprehensively analyzed daily work of hospital equipment management, and designed a new "dual core" equipment information system architecture, which was "ex purchasing + post purchasing" dual core architecture.Results: Based on the new architecture, the hospital equipment information system can cover the entire equipment management workflow, and it made information transmission between jobs more efficiently, cooperation more closely, responsibilities more clearly, constraint more effectively.Conclusion:The new system architecture emphasizes the role of "collective labor". It depends on all the members of the equipment department to work together for the goal of achieving dynamic and full life-cycle equipment management.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To reinforce the management in surgical sterilization supply center,in order to ensure the quality and safety of the health care.METHODS Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards for Hospital was introduced for the constitution of surgical sterilization supply center management system,then the system was implemented.RESULTS According to JCI Standards,all the examining results were accredited,with the average score reaching about 98,each operation had met the standardization and workflow.CONCLUSIONS JCI standards that serves in surgical sterilization supply center can achieve significant effects,while enhancing the nursing management.
