Abstract:The emergence of virtual reality technology has provided a new development space for distance higher education. This paper expounds the significance of virtual reality (VR) technology applied to distance higher education, systematically introduces the composition of VR distance education system, and proposes five application modes of VR distance higher education, including self-exploration learning, simulation experiment learning, and distance open learning, distance group discussions and distance education platforms. Finally, the challenges faced by VR technology in the application of distance higher education are summarized based on the current status. Despite of the obvious advantages in higher education, the application of virtual reality technology in distance higher education is a long-term project that requires secular exploration.

Abstract:The rapid development of computer and network has promoted the emergence and development of new teaching methods and teaching media. This paper takes the computer distance virtual experiment teaching as the research goal, by literature investigation, summarization and case analysis methods, basing on analysis of computer distance teaching, Virtual Reality (VR) technology, virtual experiment teaching, and other related technology theories, the paper proposes a computer distance virtual experiment teaching mode based on VR technology. By taking the virtual computer assembly experiment as an example, this paper designs a computer distance virtual experiment teaching mode based on VR technology, realizes the computer distance virtual experiment teaching of the computer assembly experiment, and verifies the feasibility of the teaching mode. The research results indicate that, this teaching mode has a certain practical significance on improving the computer distance teaching mode and promoting the smooth development of computer distance teaching.

Abstract:As a popular technology, Virtual Reality (VR) is getting into our lives at a rapid speed. Following this trend, there are more and more applications in different areas, especially in areas that are highly related to virtual design where VR can help to produce a sense of reality for people. Thus, this paper researched related articles and lectures to conclude current VR applications. This work mainly explores VR applications in movies, games, and media. This research also investigates the advantage, disadvantages, effects, and future development of the VR application in each field. These factories are the most representative area in this field so they can help to show the whole trend. From the study, it can see that the benefits VR brings overweight its disadvantages. VR will be more popular and useful with more effort from companies and universities, and it will change the way people treat these areas.

Research on virtual real-time 3D space for distance education

Abstract:Distance education has already been an important continuing education mode, but many courses including 3D (3-Dimension) objects can not be well supported in virtual classroom. In this paper, we propose an efficient solution to virtual real-time 3D space for distance education. In the proposed solution, a hybrid architecture is adopted to avoid the bottleneck of network communication and improve system responsiveness. Then, a concurrency control policy named role-based optimistic token is introduced, which can not only identify the diverse authority among the participants but also guarantee the consistency of user's view and improve the responsiveness of interaction. Finally, the virtual 3D space is implemented in the course of housing design, and several experiments are conducted to evaluate the performance of the 3D system. The application and experiments show that the architecture and the concurrency control strategy we proposed are efficient.

Abstract:With the advent of the 5G era, virtual reality technology is widely used in various fields. The traditional mental health education is limited by time, space and form, so it is difficult for students to immerse themselves. VR technology can make up for the shortcomings in traditional mental health education. According to the increasingly individualized and diversified needs of students, virtual reality technology is used to construct virtual scenes and carry out virtual psychological training. For example, the training of fear of heights can enhance students' immersive experience; developing VR picture books and VR educational games can stimulate students' interest in learning; providing reference for future teaching methods can help students grow up mentally healthily. And using a questionnaire survey method to conduct a VR mental health education course expectation survey of 100 college students, and found that 88% of the students would take this course. This study will discuss the advantages of virtual reality technology in mental health education, and the specific application of VR in mental health education at this stage.

Abstract:Virtual reality is a computer system which can create and experience the virtual world. People can operate, control and reach some special purposes in this system. This paper firstly introduces the concept and advantages of the virtual reality technology, and then explores the applications of virtual reality in medical instruction, including virtual observation instruction, virtual experiment instruction, virtual anatomy instruction and virtual operation instruction, to provide some references for the related researchers. Concept of Virtual Reality Technology Virtual reality is an advanced computer human interface, which is characterized by immersion, interaction and imagination. It integrates computer graphics, simulation technology, multimedia technology, artificial intelligence technology, computer network technology, parallel processing technology and sensor technology, visual, auditory, tactile and other sensory function simulation, can make people immersed in a computer generated virtual realm, and to carry out real-time interaction with the language, the gesture of natural way, create a multi-dimensional information space of a humanoid. Users can not only feel in the physical world objectively experienced fidelity through virtual reality system, and can break through space, time and other objective constraints, feel the real world cannot be experienced experience. We can simply understand the virtual reality system: using computer generated human computer interaction system that can give people a variety of sensory stimulation. It includes two aspects: the first is the computer generated virtual environment must be able to provide a variety of sensory stimulation of the senses, can let a person have the feeling of immersion, virtual reality at this stage usually consists of visual, auditory and tactile; the other is the virtual reality system is an advanced interactive system the human-computer interaction is the core of virtual reality. Abstract:<p>Virtual Reality VR technology offers a unique approach to enhance the use of complex 3D graphics and visualization environments. The study conducted using virtual reality (VR) technology integrated into the computer-aided design network; VR is a Web-based learning environment. Virtual reality technology is expected to be a traditional 2D computer graphics (CG) CG extended to a 3D real-time simulation program. Virtual reality technology can be used to promote participation and student learning. With VR education, change the delivery of educational content. No user interaction is well suited to see it and is very suitable to create a real or imaginary virtual world. Immersive virtual reality (VR) applications require ultra-high data rate and low latency to run smoothly, designed to improve multiuser wireless VR video (depth of learning support system) VR experiences. It has been proposed streaming: quality and low-latency video block submission. Scenario, VR is that it can describe some fields to be widely applied to education. One of the main features of VR is that it allows for multisensory interaction in the visualization space. This combination of visualization and interactive cosmetic VR of multisensory is, ideally, to see whether suitable for effective learning and try to explain this effect by the benefits of active learning from experience. Also, may want to consider some of the defenders and the application of VR education related to technology-related lottery.</p>

Abstract:This article presents three educational applications developed in these worlds. The first, for virtual museum of history and culture, shows a set of virtual worlds designed in VRML where the student interacts with different objects. When an object is selected, its name can be show and the student can listen to its history. In the following application, a virtual classroom,the created world can be shared simultaneously by several users. Finally, the latest advances in the creation of virtual environments have been applied in the third application using a game server. This has made possible the design of a more realistic world where the student can interact with other users and share his experiences.

It can meet the needs of situational and natural learning media interaction; so, it has a huge application potential in the field of education. Life is altered by technological advancements. The advent of virtual reality technology has opened up new avenues for traditional education. Its inception allows for the advancement and innovation of traditional teaching tools. Simultaneously, as a new teaching aid, it plays an important role in piquing students’ interest in learning and improving teaching effectiveness. In terms of simulation, it creates a three-dimensional world for users to interact with and reflect changes in physical objects in real time. Participants can get a sense of direct participation and exploration of the role and change of virtual objects in their environment by engaging in realistic perceptual behaviors such as viewing, listening, touching, and touching.

Abstract:The use of virtual reality (VR) applications has grown tremendously in recent years. This paper focuses on the review of existing virtual reality applications in higher educational institutions. The VR applications are still not widely used although it helps students in their learning process and enhances their performance. Moreover, some factors which lead to the limited use of virtual reality are lack of communication, delay in technology development, and weak acquisition of knowledge etc. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of virtual reality applications in educational institutions. The reviewed articles are taken from databases such as Science Direct, Ebscohost, and Scopus. Furthermore, the reviewed eighteen articles are published between 2016 and 2021. The study analyzed the reviewed articles based on different factors such as fields, purpose, targets, methods, citations, factors and limitations. The findings revealed that virtual reality applications can play an important role in the education domain. The reviewed articles highlighted the significant contribution of virtual reality applications in the education domain and their impact on the students' performance. Moreover, the study revealed the important factors used in VR environments such as ease of use, efficiency, interactive environments, effectiveness, and learning environments.

Abstract:Virtual Reality (VR) is increasingly being recognized for its educational potential and as an effective way to convey new knowledge to people, it supports interactive and collaborative activities. Affordable VR powered by mobile technologies is opening a new world of opportunities that can transform the ways in which we learn and engage with others. This paper reports our study regarding the application of VR in stimulating interdisciplinary communication. It investigates the promises of VR in interdisciplinary education and research. The main contributions of this study are (i) literature review of theories of learning underlying the justification of the use of VR systems in education, (ii) taxonomy of the various types and implementations of VR systems and their application in supporting education and research (iii) evaluation of educational applications of VR from a broad range of disciplines, (iv) investigation of how the learning process and learning outcomes are affected by VR systems, and (v) comparative analysis of VR and traditional methods of teaching in terms of quality of learning. This study seeks to inspire and inform interdisciplinary researchers and learners about the ways in which VR might support them and also VR software developers to push the limits of their craft.

Abstract:Virtual Reality (VR) is a world that is created by computer program, reflect the real situation and can experience interactive behavior. It includes four dimensions this is computer program, user (people), the real world and the virtual world. The purpose of constructing virtual reality is that users interact with virtual situations to gain recognition of the real world. Future Classroom is a project of instructing and scientific research that aiming at building the teaching main land "classroom" for the future, it is an expert system for instructing that integrate hardware, software resources and clouds service. The Future Classroom especially emphasizes individualized learning, core is the interaction, rich teaching resources, a key control, leading technology and healthy ecological environment. The paper is base on the research results of the future classroom and the latest technology trends, propose the idea of integrating virtual reality into the future classroom, design th"VaA"teaching mode based on future classroom environment, explore the ways to raise students' comprehensive cognitive level from both theory and practice, design the teaching activity program for the automobile engine courses offered in secondary vocational schools, and pointed out the advantages of adopting the"VaA"teaching model. Finally, puts forward some Suggestions on the related follow-up studies from three aspects: spatial structure, resource construction and development path.
