Abstract:The stochastic frontier production function estimates the R&D Efficiency of large and medium-sized high-tech manufacturing industry in 2003-2007 in China.There are three main conclusions.R&D efficiency of large and medium-sized high-tech manufacturing in China has shown a steady upward trend,but the overall level is still relatively low,which has large room for improvement.Between the degree of market competition and the efficiency of R&D,there is a significant positive correlation.Among factor inputs,it is the capital inputs that affect the efficiency of R&D mostly,and R&D is becoming capital-driven.
