Abstract:Skyline queries are important in many application domains. In this paper, we propose a novel structure Skyline Diagram, which given a set of points, partitions the plane into a set of regions, referred to as skyline polyominos. All query points in the same skyline polyomino have the same skyline query results. Similar to $k^{th}$-order Voronoi diagram commonly used to facilitate $k$ nearest neighbor ($k$NN) queries, skyline diagram can be used to facilitate skyline queries and many other applications. However, it may be computationally expensive to build the skyline diagram. By exploiting some interesting properties of skyline, we present several efficient algorithms for building the diagram with respect to three kinds of skyline queries, quadrant, global, and dynamic skylines. In addition, we propose an approximate skyline diagram which can significantly reduce the space cost. Experimental results on both real and synthetic datasets show that our algorithms are efficient and scalable.

Abstract:The construction of large-scale three-dimension city models faces the problem that the data is too huge, the mission is too heavy, and the development cycle is too long. Facing so many types of buildings and other city objects, it is very difficult to finish the Construction of 3D city models quickly and efficiently using only one technical method. How to operate the construction of large-scale 3D city model based on multi-source data quickly and efficiently is a hot issue in current researches. This paper proposes the method of constructing large-scale urban three-dimension landscape and creating virtual reality by using Skyline, a powerful software of 3DGIS, which is based on two source data, RS image and DWG. It also gives a detailed illustration on the key problems related to the construction during the course of construction, such as modeling of the particular object, texture projection, etc.

Abstract:A new solution to designing a multi-perspective three-dimensional virtual urban map was proposed after studying the characteristics, the formation and the present technology of three-dimension maps. A new three- dimension model combined with some real cases was created on Google Sketchup. Google Earth Platform makes map sharing and issuing possible. The display of the geographic data of the same region can increase maps＇ geographic information and enrich map display methods, by which a more effective service can be provided for urban planning and building.

Abstract:The database research community has recently recognized the usefulness of skyline query. As an extension of existing database operator, the skyline query is valuable for multi-criteria decision making. However, current research tends to assume that the skyline operator is applied to one table which is not true for many applications on web databases. In web databases, tables are distributed in different sites, and a skyline query may involve attributes of multiple tables.In this paper, we address the problem of processing skyline queries on multiple tables in a distributed environment. We call the new operator skyline-join, as it is a hybrid of skyline and join operations. We propose two efficient approaches to process skyline-join queries which can significantly reduce the communication cost and processing time. Experiments are conducted and results show that our approaches are efficient for distributed skyline-join queries.

Abstract:The skyline in a multidimensional database in the set of points which are not dominated by any other point in the database.As the earlier concerned focus,thorough and mature studies has been done on centralised skyline and now there are numbers of skyline algorithms developed against the centralized databases,but up to now little work has been done on skyline retrieval on P2P networks,only three articles probed initially in this regard.Among them,one article was particularly designed for subspace skyline computation,and another two were constrained to certain special P2P network protocols but were inapplicable for other protocols.This paper proposes a novel skyline retrieval algorithm based on one of the most distinguished P2P network infrastructures,Chord,and the emphases are put on minimising the bandwidth consumption as well as the number of visited nodes.The algorithm progressively outputs the skyline points with good scalability and provides means to keep query load balance.Both theoretical analysis and experimental results confirm the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed algorithm in meeting the property of the P2P networks.

Abstract:3D model data has become an important part in the construction of Digital City database with its intuitive, objectivity and accuracy characteristics. In order to solve the accuracy and efficiency requirement of 3D model data acquisition, in the process of building digital city, Beijing take a variety of ways to achieve 3D model acquisition. Abstract:The construction of three-dimensional digital city is an important application area of GIS technology, and construction of large scale city 3D building scene based on 2D building outline is a method to construct three-dimensional digital scene. This article makes a study of using ArcSDE to store the Shape files in SQL Server database, and then uses ArcObject to program the ArcSDE in order to gain the building vector polygon outline. According to people's habit observing objects, three-dimension of GIS platform follows the order from top to bottom to read vector files and then renders 3D building model. This article discusses the pyramid vector storage and management methods, and designs an interactive, fast and efficient frame to construct the large scale city 3D building scene. At the same time, it makes a detailed discussion of the process for data storage, SDE connection, data selection, data extraction, data output and data show. This method is used in "ChinaStar", the three-dimensional visualization engine. The experiment reveals that the method can conveniently and quickly construct large scale city 3D building scene.

Abstract:In recent years,the database community has witnessed a growing interest in skyline computation,mainly due to the awareness of its importance in many applications involving multi-criteria decision making,data mining,and database visualization.Centralized skyline computation has been extensively studied,and some effective algorithms have been proposed,such as BNL,NN,BBS,etc.Distributed skyline computation has also received considerable attention recently,and studies have been conducted on distributed databases,mobile ad-hoc networks,and peer-to-peer networks.Furthermore,the study of skyline has also been extended in different directions,like subsky,skycube,k-dominant skyline,spatial skyline and so on.In despite of the extensive study on skyline computation,there is no survey on this topic in the literature.In this paper,the author conducts a comprehensive survey on skyline computation techniques.And introduces the typical skyline computation algorithms,analyzes their characteristics,compares them with each other,and outlines the directions for future research.

Abstract:Abstract. The construction of an efficient and practical database management system based on large-scale three-dimensional spatiotemporal databases presents a novel challenge in the field of natural resource information technology. This research, with the objective of supporting the contemporary era of unified natural resource management and building upon the foundation of a national-level three-dimensional spatiotemporal natural resource database, proposes a comprehensive framework for a distributed architecture database management system. Subsequently, the research outlines the system's components, encompassing a service publishing system, online application system, professional management system, and operational supervision system, and designs core functionalities for the integrated management of natural resource elements within a three-dimensional spatiotemporal context. Building upon this framework, the research utilizes cloud-based database software and hardware environments, along with distributed technology pathways, to establish a national-level three-dimensional spatiotemporal database management system for natural resources. Furthermore, it conducts typical applications in the field of natural resources. The results demonstrate that the database management system effectively achieves the integration, representation, and analytical application of large-scale natural resource survey and monitoring data within a three-dimensional spatiotemporal context. It plays a crucial supportive role in the development of a national-level three-dimensional spatiotemporal natural resource database and holds valuable insights for the construction of provincial-level database management systems and other related systems in various domains.

Abstract:It presents a kind of technological method to obtain DEM and DOM of a city based on the images of UAV,and sums up the experiences and ways about data collection outdoor and data processing indoor.With VirtuoZoNT3.75and Dibud supporting,the 3D model of the city construction with the real veins is established fast.Based on the skyline,DEM,DOM and the 3D models of the constructions are integrated to realize the construction of a 3D city.Finally,analysis is made on the DEM from UAV with the accurate DEM in the same area.

Abstract:The Digital City is a multi-resolution, multi-scale, multi-space and time, multi-kinds description of a city in three dimensions with techniques such as 3S, telemetry, simulation and Virtual Reality (VR) based on such techniques as computer, multimedia and large-scale storage, and taking the wide band web as vinculum. By this technique, the modern city's information can be collected, collated and generalized,and the complete spatial data model can be established on the geographical coordinate system so as to facilitate each person's acquaintance of the past, present and future of the city rapidly, entirely and visually through the web. At the present time, studies on Digital City at home and abroad make no substantive advancement, but still remain at building hardware and software conditions, or at most, at the preliminary stage of the study. The paper mainly probes into the key techniques such as Virtual Reality, Urban Spatial Data Infrastructure, integrated model study of many kinds of GIS systems, 3D-GIS, the urban planning in three dimensions, city simulation and digital society supported by VR and Digital City, etc.

Abstract:There are a lot of problems in traditional site-situation 3D model building technology,such as high technical threshold,long operation period,heavy workload and limited accuracy.These problems constrain the application of digital city technology in the landscape design field.Along with the continually increase requirement of urban development for landscape design and more complexity of the site condition,there appears new research hotspots in landscape design on how to realize the delicate analysis and create more visual landscape design plan for comparison,so as to improve the accuracy and operability of landscape design.This paper has been setting up based on the technology experience of building digital city.It introduces the technology abouthow to obtain the image informationon the surface using unmanned aerial vehicles and build 3D real-scene models.Thus,it could realize the 3D spatial analysis and fine design specific to the site.The result shows that 3D real-time model has many advantages such as fast,visual and accurate,thus it could come into play in all kinds of phases in planning and design.

Abstract:Abstract. 3D Real Scene is an important part of new infrastructure construction, which provides a unified spatial base for economic and social development and informatization of various departments. According to the demand of real 3D Real Scene digital construction, this paper aims to study the method of indoor and outdoor structured monomer reconstruction of city 3D Real Scene, develop digital twin platform, and strive to lead the development of 3D Real Scene. The main research contents of this paper are as follows: 1) Spatio-temporal-spectral-angular remote sensing observation system and data fusion model; 2) Rapid construction method of vector monomer 3D model of indoor and outdoor entity object; 3) 3D structural reconstruction technology of urban component level based on vector images; 4) A universal digital twins platform, LuojiaDT. The technologies we have developed have been widely used in the national 3D Real Scene construction of China, including smart city, smart transportation, cultural heritage protection, public security and police, urban underground pipe network, indoor and outdoor location service. This research will promote the continuous development of digital twins technology.

Abstract:Recently, with the continuous development of technologies such as smart cities and virtual reality, the demand for 3D geospatial data is also growing. 3D laser scanning technology can be used to collect 3D geospatial data, create 3D scenes and collect other data to obtain outstanding Visual effects and scalability. This article puts forward the application research of ancient architecture three-dimensional information expression method based on point cloud data and BIM. Using 3D point cloud modeling and surface reconstruction of 3D point cloud data, in the form of a grid of a given point cloud, a 3D point cloud modeling is used to reconstruct a 3D model based on point cloud data and perform surface reconstruction of 3D point cloud data. process. The 3D digital protection of ancient Chinese buildings is an important way to inherit the essence of Chinese architecture. It helps to record the structural shape and historical, cultural and scientific value of ancient buildings, and provides accurate data support for the maintenance and repair of buildings.
