Abstract:Based on the scientific principles of the History of Nationalities,History of Sports,Sports Theories,Archaeology and so on,the authors of the present paper have done a study on the implication,content,nature,forms or presentation,efe of the SebaDay of the Tujia Nationality in Three Gorge Area through information retrieving,background analysis and comprehensive analysis,The paper finds that the Tujia Nationality,is by nature a brave,hardworking,skillful in battles and interested in dancing nationality SebaDay has the characteristics of offering sacrifice and collective dance,with varieties of presentation including single waves,double waves and returning waves,the content of which reflects the complete process of Ancient Ba people fighting the battles,returning after victories and offering sacrifice to ancestors The content embodies the richness of culture and the marked style of sports in Three Gorge Area.
