Abstract:Drawing on transformation and upgrading of advanced equipment manufacturing industry, this paper proposed an approach of how to evaluate the performance of advanced equipment manufacturing companies.Factor Analysis is adopted to analyze the innovation of reginal company.After analyzing the overall scores and ranks of the innovation capacity advanced equipment companies, we conclude that Transport Equipment Manufacturing industry has prominent advantages and potentials in contributing Jiangmen's development and the key of creating Jiangmen's reginal brands lies in developing and maintaining advantages of Transport Equipment Manufacturing industry.The results provides important theoretical and empirical implications to Jiangmen's industry transforamtion and upgrading.

Abstract:The regional concentration of manufacturing industry has a big influence and effect on the whole economy as well as the great promotion of its development.According to the recent five years statistics and by means of some targets like Section Gini Factor,this paper conducts some static and dynamic proof study of the concentration degree of manufacturing industry in Jiangsu province,aiming to throw light on a fact that there is a distinct regional concentration of manufacturing industry in Jiangsu province and the general concentration degree has been strengthened in its southern regions,less in its middle parts,least in its northern areas,and resources and technique content have become important factors.Hence each region should make full use of its resources advantages to develop its manufacturing industry and maintain its developing and competitive ability.

Abstract:Promoting technological transformation and intelligence upgrading of the manufacturing industry is an important measure to deepen the supply-side structural reform. However, due to the disproportionation in development of China’s manufacturing industry, how to effectively promote transformation of the industrial base is the major difficulty in China’s industrial policy implementation at the present stage. Since 2013, Zhejiang Province has accumulated rich working experience in terms of advancing technological transformation and intelligence upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and obtained remarkable achievements in the aspects of improving the quality of manufacturing products, easing labor pressure, optimizing the investment structure, and fostering emerging industries. Based on field research of the manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Province, this study summarized the main methods and effects in the aspects of giving play to government guidance, stimulating enterprise initiatives, and optimizing market supply in the process of technological transformation and intelligence upgrading of the manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Province, and proposed policy suggestions for comprehensive promotion of technological transformation and intelligence upgrading of the manufacturing industry in China.

Abstract:To build Jiangsu International Manufacturing Industry Base building has influenced the structure of human capital need of manufacturing industry.Demonstration has indicated that the need of Jiangsu manufacturing industry human capital is rising as a whole.However,the heavy needs are shifting toward the emphasis industries of the manufacturing industry base building plan.Both quantity and quality of human capital need in many emphasis industries.But,the quality of human capital need exceeds quantity need in some industries.And,the need in some non-emphasis industries is shrinking.This also is showing the characteristic that Jiangsu industrialization is shifting to the industries with concentrated technology and deep processing.We should further renew concept to form atmosphere,adjust structure to guarantee emphasis,improve training high-level human capital.

Abstract:With the continuous development of the economy, the manufacturing and service industries have gradually shown a trend of integration. This study constructs the evaluation index system of the integration of the advanced manufacturing and modern service industries in Jiangsu Province from the three dimensions of integration scale, integration structure and integration efficiency. Finally measures the integration degree of the two industries in Jiangsu Province and the development of the specific three dimensions. The study found that: 1) Overall, the integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries in Jiangsu Province is at a moderate level of integration. 2) From the perspective of the scale of integration, from 2015 to 2017, the contribution ratio of advanced manufacturing industry is larger, and after 2017, the contribution ratio of modern service industry is larger; from the perspective of integration structure and integration efficiency, the overall contribution of modern service industry is higher than that of advanced manufacturing. The conclusions of this paper have reference value for promoting the integration and development of advanced manufacturing industry and modern service industry, and provide empirical evidence and suggestions for promoting the integration of the two industries in Jiangsu Province.

Abstract:This paper analyzes the basic status of Zhejiang manufacture by two methods, which include its proportion in china and its growth rate. It also proposes and verifies a converse-u evolution hypothesis of the predominance industry that reflects the evolution characteristic and process of the location predominance industry. This paper confirms the predominant and important manufacture industry of Zhejiang province, and proposes the significant ideas such as the intensive capital and technical industry developed in advance, and the intensive labor industry developed by the government economic program. In the end, according to authors, the development strategy of manufacture should pay attention to absorb FDI, intensify technical innovation, transfer some industry to developed and undeveloped area to exploit market and reduce cost.
The Local Economic Structure and Growth of Manufacturing Industry:Empirical Evidence from comparison of Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province

Abstract:Using panel data of 27 manufacturing sectors in both Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces from 1999 to 2007,this paper conducts an empirical study on the impacts of externality of local economic structure(specialized economies versus diversified economies,local competition versus local monopoly,and foreign direct investment versus exports)on the growth of manufacturing industry in the two provinces.The results demonstrate that,diversified economy contributes to industrial growth in both Jiangsu and Zhejiang,while specialized economy has an enhancing effect on the industrial growth in Zhejiang but the one on the industrial growth in Zhejiang is not obvious;local competition is helpful,whereas local monopoly is only beneficial for Jiangsu but not for Zhejiang;FDI does not significantly effect the industrial growth,while exports significantly contributes to the industrial growth in the two provinces.In addition,the concentration of industry promotes the development of industry in Jiangsu but that has negative effects on industry in Zhejiang.With the input of traditional elements,capital has positive effects on development of industry while input of labor shows no significant impact on industrial growth.
The Research on the Co-location Between Producer Services and Manufacturing the Empirical Analyses Based on the 69 Cities and Regions in Zhejiang Province

Abstract:As the intermediate input,producer services' relationship with the manufacturing is becoming the spotlight in the post-industrial society.However,the research about their relationship on the spatial level is still weak.Thus,we put this as an point cut,and mainly focus on the co-location between industries,build up the framework and theoretical model at the spatial level based on their vertical linkage.And we take the employment data of 69 cities and regions in Zhejiang province as an example,use the simultaneous model with two equations,test and verify the co-location between producer services and manufacturing,find out: the impact that producer services' location put on the manufacturing,and the vise effect have different behave in cities with different scale,thus lead to the different developmental sequence of industries.The metropolis should focus on the development and agglomeration of producer services,in order to propel the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing.Meanwhile,the small-medium cities should put the manufacturing at the first place,in order to attract producer services.Furthermore,we find that the trade cost has an important impact on the co-location,and the reduction of trade cost will advance the coordinate development and upgrade of industries.

Abstract:The management model of high resource-consuming industry of Jiangsu province is extensive,the contribution share of industry production value is small,but share of resource-consuming is large,and the contradiction of economy development,population,resource and environment is sharp.As a result,it is the key to construct resource-saving society to distinguish and regulate high resource consuming industries.The method of resource-consuming index is used to distinguish out twelve kinds of high resource-consuming industry of Jiangsu province.Study indicates that high resource consuming industries are of absolute proportion dominance in Jiangsu industries.Some industries are even the dominating ones.The indexs evaluating system for industry competition evaluation has been constructed from four aspects of economy strength,capital strength,opening level and resource consuming level according to the development character of high resource consuming industries of Jiangsu province,and the compositive competition of high resource-consuming industry is evaluated with the method of factor analyzing.Study indicates that the cornpositive competition of the high resource consuming industries are better at large apart from the industries of chemical materials and chemical products,spinning and electric power,and gas and water producing.At last,the sustainable development regulating strategies are put forward in three aspects of the structure adjusting of industry,the developing planning of key industries and the optimizing of industry management.

Abstract:Competition between cities results from the market economy and raising city competitive capacity has been emphased by all kinds of cities. This paper, using 29 indications covering developing level, developing benefits, developing potentials, developing opening, developing controlling etc, first evaluates 13 central cities in Jiangsu Province. Using the statistical software of SPSS, the data is disposed and a model on urban competitiveness is established. It then analyses competitive capacities of all cities and classifies them into 4 types. Finally, several proposals in raising urban competitive capacities in Jiangsu province have been put forward in the end. The best competitions are Suzhou city, Nanjing City and Wuxi City;The better are Changzhou City, Nantong City, Zhenjiang City, Lianyungang City, Taizhou City. The worse are Xuzhou City, Yangzhou City, Yancheng City and Huaian City. The worst is Suqian City.

Abstract:Based on the Diamond Model,with the cultural industry related data of 13 cities of Jiangsu province in 2007-2011,we construct regional cultural industry competitiveness index system and take an empirical analysis.The results showed that Nanjing,Suzhou and Wuxi are the pioneer of cultural industry development in Jiangsu province.The competitiveness of Jiangsu cultural industry has four characteristics that are sequential increasing,spatial difference,factor differences and obvious discrepancy.Furthermore,government should guarantee the development of cultural industry from system.Into practice,we should focus on industrial parks to drive the development,in addition,we should pay high attention to the innovative talents,in order to promote cultural industry innovation ability and competitiveness.

Abstract:After comparing the different measurable methods of the Industrial Competition,we choose the Manufacture in Pearl River Delta for a case study and use Factor Analysis method to evaluate the degrees of the Industrial Competition. In our research,we discover that the industrials of Capital-Intensity and Tech-Intensity such as Petroleum Processing,Manufactures of Measuring Instruments,Transport Equipment and Electronic Equipment etc have Competitive Advantages.The industrials of Labor-Intensity such as Manufactures of Beverages and Foods have some advantages,but the Manufactures of Textile and Wearing Apparel have no Competitive Advantages.The industrials of Resource-Intensity such as manufactures of Non-metallic products,Smelting and Pressing of ferrous metals have missed Competitive Advantages.High-tech industries such as automobile,electronic information,medicine have earned valid Competitive Advantages.

Abstract:Over a long period of time,the coordinated development of different regions has turned out to be an important concern of the government.Undeniably,considerable achievements have been made in this area thanks to a series of policies and measures,but the overall result is still far from satisfaction.The gap between the advanced and backward regions in particular is barely shortened.On the contrary it exhibits the tendency to forther widening,from which a few national problems crop up.Responding to these problems and based on the realities of Jiangsu province,proposals are made about the fundamental policies,and in this light the basic design is initiated as to the two steps of development from the interactive coordination to the integration of different regional economy.

A Comparative Study on Manufacturing Industry Agglomeration in Jiangsu and Zhejiang

Abstract:Drawing on the manufacturing industry data at 2-digit and 3-digit level from the first economy census in 2004,this paper compares the geographical distribution of manufacturing industries in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province.The preliminary results show that most manufacturing industries in these two provinces are to some extent geographically agglomerated.In general,manufacturing industries in Zhejiang are more agglomerated than those in Jiangsu.More over,industries with higher level of agglomeration are usually subject to higher degree of spatial autocorrelation at county level.We also find that industries with higher level of agglomeration in these two provinces are usually more competitive.

Abstract:In the context of the "dual carbon goals" and intensified international manufacturing competition, the green and high-end transformation of manufacturing is the direction for the industry's future growth in China. The study discusses the effect of producer service industry co-agglomeration and manufacturing on the transformation of manufacturing into being green and high-end. Firstly, we systematically elaborate on the mechanism of the collaborative promotion of high-end manufacturing by the service and manufacturing industries and propose research hypotheses. Based on the 2010 to 2020 Hunan Provincial Statistical Yearbook data, we used the coupling coordination model and entropy method to calculate the level of collaborative development between the manufacturing and service industry, as well as the level of green high-end development in the manufacturing industry. Lastly, the specific impact of the synergistic effect of the two industries on the green high-end transformation of the manufacturing industry was analyzed using the dynamic panel regression model. Results found that service industry manufacturing synergy has a noteworthy positive driving effect on the green and high-end transformation of manufacturing. However, the impact varies across different service industries and manufacturing sectors with different technological levels. We also provide some implications for improving transformation efficiency in the green and high-end manufacturing industry.

Abstract:Based on diamond model, this paper adopts factor analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of manufacturing industries in 31 provinces and cities in China in the context of "Internet +". The research results show that Chinese manufacturing industry has inferior overall competitiveness in integration development of the Internet and manufacturing industry, with uneven regional development between various provinces and cities. Concerted efforts should be made to achieve benign interaction between Internet technology innovation and manufacturing product innovation, strengthen talent team building, increase government support, thereby accelerating the transformation of manufacturing industry from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing".
