Abstract:Product Structure Management is the core of both ERP system and PDM system and is necessary and important to manufacturing information engineering. A PSM system example aimed at practical project has been developed in the paper to present its function and key technology of developing. This system realized its integration between I-DEAS and MRPII besides other conventional molding functions such as creating and modifying BOM, product file demanding and product structure multi-view management.

Abstract:Workflow is a technology implementing enterprise informatization of complicated business.Modeling with UML to develop the workflow management system can improve consistency and reusability.The architecture of lightweight J2EE-based workflow mana-gement system was analyzed firstly.Then the steps and methods of modeling throughout all phases of the software developing were in-troduced.According to these,the application of objected-oriented modeling language UML in modeling the system in every phase was discussed in detail.

Abstract:A BOM description language DBDL(Dynamic Bill of Material Description Language) is presented to form the dynamic BOM for mass customized products.Application of dynamic BOM in integration of PDM and ERP systems in mass customized enterprise is described and some interfaces of developed system based on PDM are illustrated.The result from demonstration case shows that dynamic BOM can efficiently integrate the PDM and ERP systems in mass customized enterprise and promote the application level of enterprise information tools.

Abstract:A method to improve functions of a workflow management system of PDM, including monitoring, counting, analyzing and reporting, is put forward. The depth-first search method is used to recognize closed loops and the method of draw-feedback-intervention is proposed to figure them. The method is also available and effective for improving other workflow management systems of PDM.

Abstract:Interoperability, reusability, portability and productivity are the real challenges for traditional workflow management system, MDA is an approach to meeting the challenges mentioned above. In the research area of model driven workflow management system, workflow model is the very core of the subject. As a start, extended workflow metamodel and Petri net based formal workflow model procedure net are introduced. And then, according to MDA and given workflow model, a model driven framework is proposed for rapidly building workflow management system. Finally, one of the key steps in the framework, i.e. transformation (process and rules)from EPC based process CIM to procedure net based process PIM, is discussed in detail, and E-PNML specification for process PIM is given.

Abstract:Along with the extensive application of network and information technologies in enterprises, Dispersed Network Manufacturing (DNM) is becoming one of the most important manufacturing modes. Because of the obvious dispersed characteristic of the network manufacturing, the workflow management system will be greatly applied in the enterprise business and will become one of the most necessary supporting tools. However, the traditional workflow management systems are far from satisfactory. Especially under the network and dispersed environment, the traditional systems cannot satisfy the special requirements of the DNM. As a result, a new workflow management system for networked manufacturing based on mobile and collaboration technologies (k-WMFS) is presented in the paper. The architecture, features and key technologies of the system are discussed in the paper. The system can help us to improve the working efficiency, track and manage the executing process of cooperative work effectively under the DNM.

Abstract:In Enterprise Project Management, Workflow system can control and manage project process, help enterprise improving efficiency, reduce production cost, and improve enterprise's productivity and competitiveness. This paper designs and implements a workflow system for enterprise project management. The design and implementation technology of workflow system are described. The composition of workflow system has three layers, which include user interface layer, workflow operation layer and data management layer. The system can fulfill the automatic control of project management and implement Multi-task display, process approval, task plan, task assignment and some related work about enterprise project management. Practice verified, the workflow system can be applied in enterprise project management stably and safely.

Abstract:The diversified market demand and shorter production cycle, as well as other factors, have increasingly complicate the problems of mold during design and manufacturing. Considering both design and manufacturing to facilitate the production progress, the effective collaborative development becomes an important issue for mold factor. The realization of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) is attached with more importance by the industry. More manufacturing-related data and information are added in the design phase, so that the manufacturing phase may be easier and smoother to enhance the competitive advantage, thus reducing the product development time and improving the production quality. Therefore, this research aimed to develop a web-based mold design for manufacturing architecture with knowledge management, and realize the application of DFM in the field of mold design/manufacturing with CAD redevelopment tool and by navigating design process. This research established a knowledge-based navigating process by utilizing design parameters and features, in order to increase the mold design/manufacturing efficiency to 50%, and avoid unnecessary human errors to ensure the accumulation and inheritance of correct knowledge.

Abstract:The workflow technology plays an important role in the business process management and electronic government.The design and implement of the workflow engine based on relational data model provide a basic technique for that purpose.Based on the relational database,the workflow process model is built and expressed.The workflow engine architecture according to workflow reference model is proposed and key techniques in workflow engine are implemented.Combining with land use planning,a workflow engine server and a workflow client framework which can dynamically configured are developed.As a result,it shortens the cycle of development application system and reduces the complexity of the system maintenance.

Abstract:To improve processing ability of workflow for uncertain factors,a parameterized dynamic workflow modeling method was presented.Through multiple parameterized models,the actual business process model was constructed.In order to control and navigate the entire business process,the Activity Control Parameters(ACP) rule,strategy to control the flow relationship of various sub-model instances, and the manual control strategy based on management role were put forward.To realize the proposed dynamic modeling method,Workflow Management Coalition(WfMC) criterion was expanded on small scale by workflow management system.Application showed that this method was effective and feasible.
