Abstract:Hypoxic or ischemic microenvironment is a common phenomena in tumor growth and progression.Under hypoxic condition,tumor cells change its metabolic character to keep survive and growth.Hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF-1)as the most important transcription activator under the hypoxic condition,it regulates transcription activation of more than 100 target genes directly or indirectly,which help tumor cells adapt to hypoxic environment,and keep the ability of proliferation,infiltration and metastasis.
