A randomized controlled study of medical suture device applied in laparoscopic surgery incision on the skin surface

Abstract:Objective To investigate medical skin suture device used in laparoscopic surgery.Methods From June 2009 to June 2012,in Xuzhou Central Hospital,a total of 1650 cases of laparoscopic resection in patients with gallbladder,randomly divided into two groups,including an observation group( 950 cases) applied with medical skin suture closure,skin incision. The control group( 700 cases) was applied to conventional silk closure,skin incision. The items for observation and analyze included the postoperative incision infection, liquefaction, subcutaneous bleeding and hematoma, scarring, patient satisfaction indicators,etc. Results Two cases of incision infection were found in the observation group,with 2 cases of fat liquefaction,subcutaneous bleeding and 3 cases of hematoma. In the control group,8 cases of infection of incision,10 cases of fat liquefaction,subcutaneous bleeding and 9 cases of hematoma were observed. After a postoperative follow up of 6 to 12 months,In the observation group,no needle scar was occurred,95% of patients were satisfied with incision. In the control group,360 cases of patients were observed with needle centipede foot sample scar,with 88% satisfaction for incision. Conclusions The application of medical skin suture in laparoscopic surgery can reduce incision infection rate,subcutaneous fat liquefaction,incision complication such as subcutaneous bleeding and hematoma,scarring,and improve patient satisfaction,which is safe and reliable with curative effect.
