Abstract:A column experiment was conducted with Eum-Orthic Anthrosols(cinnamon soils) to study the effects of spatial coupling of water, nitrogen and phosphorus on the distribution of nitrogen and phosphorus in different plant components of winter wheat(Triticum aestivum L.).The aim was to gain evidence of better water and fertilizer management to facilitate nutrient transferring to seed. The column consisted of three layers. Each soil layer was 30 cm thick and there was a 2 cm layer of coarse sand between the layers to prevent water and nutrients exchange. The soil water content was controlled by layer.'Xiaoyan 22' was used as indicating crops. The main results showed as follows:(1) Nitrogen and phosphorus uptake of grain was highest, followed by stem and leaf, then was RH,and root was lowest.(2) Nitrogen and phosphorus uptakes decreased in the dry treatment(0~30 cm layer at 40%~45% of field capacity,30~90 cm layer at 75%~80% of field capacity) compared to the wet treatment(entire column was at 75%~80% of field capacity),nitrogen uptake of almost all organs increased, but only distribution proportion of grain decreased little.(3) Compared to CK,both nitrogen and phosphorus uptake of different plant components of N treatment,P treatment and NP treatments increased, but only distribution proportion of grain decreased little.(4) Root nitrogen and phosphorus uptake of 0~30 cm soil layer were highest, and increased relatively at the fertilization layers.(5) Nitrogen and phosphorus uptake of different plant components was highest when only nitrogen was applied to the layer of 0~90 cm,was lowest when applied to the layer of 0~30 cm.Nitrogen and phosphorus uptake of grain and root was highest when only phosphorus or nitrogen and phosphorus were applied to the layer of 0~90 cm,then was to the layer of 0~30 cm.The mixed nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer should be applied practically in the layer of 0~30 cm,because NO3--N move easily in calcareous soil and phosphorus slowly.
