Abstract:The hardened public facilities make the rainfall accelerate running over the city instead of penetrating into the underground, which leads to the decreasing of the underground water, descent of the ground and seawater invading. The geology and hydrology around the city have been changed dramatically. In order to realize urban ecosystem sound-cycle, it is proposed to resolve the problems of landscape water supply shortage by utilizing the rainwater collection system from three aspects, namely site selection combined with wetting system, utilizing the rain water in landscape architecture and decontaminating the storage rain water by planting arrangement, based on the rainfall collecting theories and practices of ancient China and foreign countries.
