We study the structure of L-modules Fgα(V), and give a necessary and sufficient condition of isomorphism between the L-modules Fg1α(V) and Fg2β(W).

Abstract:Let Der(C-q) be the derivation Lie algebra of the quantum torus C-q. We construct a functor from gl(d)-modules to Der(C-q)-modules, which generalizes the constructions obtained by Shen [Scientia Sinica A 29 (1986) 570], Larsson [Internat. J. Modern Phys. A 7 (1992) 6493], and Rao [J. Algebra 182 (1996) 401]. We also give a complete description of the structure of the Der(C-q)-modules when all the entries of the quantum torus matrix q = (q(ij))(d x d) are roots of unity. (C) 2004 Elsevier Inc. Skew derivations of quantum tori and quantum spaces

Abstract:We determine the $\sigma$-derivations of quantum tori and quantum affine spaces for a toric automorphism $\sigma$. By standard results, every toric automorphism $\sigma$ of a quantum affine space $\mathcal{A}$ and every $\sigma$-derivation of $\mathcal{A}$ extend uniquely to the corresponding quantum torus $\mathcal{T}$. We shall see that, for a toric automorphism $\sigma$, every $\sigma$-derivation of $\mathcal{T}$ is a unique sum of an inner $\sigma$-derivation and a $\sigma$-derivation that is conjugate to a derivation and that the latter is non-zero only if $\sigma$ is an inner automorphism of $\mathcal{T}$. This is applied to determine the $\sigma$-derivations of $\mathcal{A}$ for a toric automorphism $\sigma$, generalizing results of Alev and Chamarie for the derivations of quantum affine spaces and of Almulhem and Brzeziński for $\sigma$-derivations of the quantum plane.

Abstract:This paper studies a class of derivation Lie algebras over quantum torus, which includes the Virasoro-Like algebra and its q-analog, and proves that every isomorphism between such Lie algebras must be a graded isomorphism. Moreover, the authors give a necessary and sufficient condition for the isomorphic Lie algebras, and obtain the explicit expression of the isomorphisms. Finally, the authors give the structure of the automorphism group of the Lie algebra.

Abstract:We construct a Lie algebra L from rank 3 quantum tori and show that it is isomorphic to the core of extended affine Lie algebras of type A(1). Then we construct two classes - which turn out to be exhaustive - of irreducible Z-graded highest weight L-modules and give necessary and sufficient conditions for these modules to have finite-dimensional homogeneous subspaces. As a consequence, we also determine all the irreducible Z-graded L-modules with nonzero center and finite-dimensional homogeneous subspaces.

Abstract:A quadratic Lie conformal algebra corresponds to a Hamiltonian pair in Gel'fend and Dorfman (Hamiltonian operators and algebraic structures related to them. Funkts Anal Prilozhen. 1979;13:13–30), which plays fundamental roles in completely integrable systems. Moreover, it also corresponds to a certain compatible pair of a Lie algebra and a Novikov algebra which was called Gel'fand–Dorfman bialgebra by Xu (Quadratic conformal superalgebras. J Algebra. 2000;231:1–38). In this paper, central extensions and conformal derivations of quadratic Lie conformal algebras are studied in terms of Gel'fand–Dorfman bialgebras. It is shown that central extensions and conformal derivations of a quadratic Lie conformal algebra are related with some bilinear forms and some operators of the corresponding Gel'fand–Dorfman bialgebra, respectively.

Abstract:The discussions in the present paper arise from exploring intrinsically the structural nature of the quantum n-space. A kind of braided category GB of Λ-graded θ-commutative associative algebras over a field k is established. The quantum divided power algebra over k related to the quantum n-space is introduced and described as a braided Hopf algebra in GB (in terms of its 2-cocycle structure), over which the so-called special q-derivatives are defined so that several new interesting quantum groups, especially the quantized polynomial algebra in n variables (as the quantized universal enveloping algebra of the abelian Lie algebra of dimension n) and the quantum group associated to the quantum n-space, are derived from our approach independently of using the R-matrix. As a verification of its validity for our discussion, the quantum divided power algebra is equipped with the structure of a Uq(sln)-module algebra via certain q-differential operators' realization. Particularly, one of the four kinds of root vectors of Uq(sln) in the sense of Lusztig can be specified precisely under the realization.

Abstract:In this paper, we associate the quantum toroidal algebra $\mathcal{E}_N$ of type $\mathfrak{gl}_N$ with quantum vertex algebra through equivariant $\phi$-coordinated quasi modules. More precisely, for every $\ell\in \mathbb{C}$, by deforming the universal affine vertex algebra of $\mathfrak{sl}_\infty$, we construct an $\hbar$-adic quantum $\Z$-vertex algebra $V_{\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_{\infty},\hbar}(\ell,0)$.
