Abstract:Objective Analyze the situation of apheresis donors in Hangzhou from 2012 to 2016, analyze the state of the construction of apheresis donors and discuss the improvement strategy in order to provide a scientific basis for the construction of apheresis donors in the 13th Five-Year plan. Methods Analyze the situation of regular apheresis donors from 2012 to 2016 in Hangzhou area and the distribution of sex, age, blood type, educational background, number and frequency of donations. The results were collected and analyzed by SPSS 19. 0 statistical software. Results The numbers of regular apheresis donors increased by 41. 5％ and donations increased by 56. 1％ in the 5 years from 2012 to 2016; The number of regular apheresis donors and donations increased significantly (P＜ 0. 001), and the amount of blood donated by the regular apheresis donors in 2016 accounted for 91. 6％ of the total donated blood volume and increased by 107. 2％ compared with 2012; The constituent ratio of new regular apheresis donors increased from 17. 6％ to 45. 0％ (P＜ 0. 001); The blood group distribution of regular apheresis donors was O type > A type > B type > AB type. The numbers of men are more than women, the average sex ratio was 3. 3 ∶1. The most education was college or above, accounting for 48. 1％, followed by high school education, and presents to the higher educational level development tendency. The age was mainly concentrated in the 21 to 45-years-old group, accounting for 83. 5％. The proportional distribution showed a downward trend in the 21 to 30-years-old group, the 41 to 50-years-old group showed a trend of growth. The numbers and donations of regular apheresis donors who only donate one time a year decreased year by year, while two times was accounting for 63. 1％ and 90. 3％. The largest number of regular apheresis donors was donated three to five times a year, accounting for 38. 3％. The numbers of regular apheresis donors who donate over ten times a year in 5 years increased significantly by 269. 7％, and donations increased by 357. 3％, while donors for six to nine times a year increased by 45. 0％ and 46. 6％ respectively. Conclusion Although the construction of apheresis donors has achieved remarkable results, but there is great room for improvement and development. Accurate recruitment, retention and maintenance to target group were important for health and sustainable development of the construction of apheresis donors.
