Abstract:According to the fossil biomarkers measured from soluble organic matters of Jurassic ingredient in Manjiaer Depression of Tarim Basin, the mass chromatogram(m/z=85 for n-alkanes) is further characterized by a bimodal distribution in relative proportions of mid-and long-chain n-alkanes with ∑n-C21-/∑n-C22+ratios above 5.0,a high pristane/phytane ratio(Pr/Ph=3.76).There is the abundance of hopanes from C27 to C33,with maximum intensities of the C30αβ-hopane,while C28-hopanoids have low abundance or are even absent.Tricyclic diterpenoids(C19-C29) at low intensities and C29~C32-ββ as bacteriohopane are identified in the GC-MS traces of the saturated hydrocarbons. The abundance of steroid homologues, such as high C29 regular steranes, and the presence of pregnane steranes and diasteranes basically confirms an increasing contribution of autochthonous aquatic organic matter(algae,micro-organisms) and terrestrial plants to the sediments after flooding of fresh-lean salt bogs under aerobic conditions.
