Human Safety Risk Evaluation and Control of Power-supplying Operation

Abstract:In order to enhance the human safety management efficiency in power-supplying operation,a quantitative evaluation and control method is proposed. Based on safety behavior,psychology and accident-causing theory,the fac-tors that affect human safety are classified into five respects:man,machine,material,management and mediums, called 5M method. Firstly,human casualty probability values are statistically counted when different influencing factors occur,and the correlation among those factors is analyzed based on historical data of a power grid. Then multiple linear regression is used to predict human casualty hazard value,and human safety risk is evaluated by the product of the ob-tained human casualty hazard and probability value. Risk control measures are put forward based on the sensitivity of human safety risk. Finally,the validity of the proposed method is verified based on human casualties happening in one power grid.
