Exploration and Practice of a New Model for Agricultural Science and Technology Extension Relying on the University--Taking Northwest A & F University for Example

Abstract:In order to explore for new historical period model of agricultural science and technology,innova-tion and improve the agricultural extension system,Northwest A&F University carried the Ministry of Fi-nance“to explore a new model for agricultural science and technology extension relies on the university”project. By three different experimental and demonstration stations in the promotion of the practice for 4 years,summed up in the new historical conditions,a new model for Chinese agricultural technology exten-sion: university’s some professors,led much pilot station for the carrier,to agricultural workers as the main mode of agricultural science and technology. Propose 3 different sub-modes:1+2+2 model village school's technical staff model,the Model 10+10 hotshots household model,6+6+6 model village model;and made a 9 kinds of specific forms:Model forms,the form of training,guidance form,discussion-style shape,forms of communication,access forms,to guide the form,form of participation,the meeting format,elaborated on experi-ment and demonstration stations in different patterns in common,and also pointed out the three pilot dem-onstration stations operating model and the effects,also analyzed the university to promote the advantages of the embodiment in practice,and pointed out that the university extension model problems.
