Abstract:Through the method of literature research, this paper reviews the latest study progress of the main seismic infrasonic observatory array and earthquake infrasound at home and abroad.The main purpose is to find the gap and deficiency between domestic and international, and provide beneficial reference for the construction of seismic infrasonic observatory array and earthquake infrasonic investigation in China. The infrasonic observatory array of the International Monitoring System（IMS）,which was established and operated by the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization（CTBTO）,is the largest and most widely distributed infrasound array all over the world.Because most infrasound array layout in other countries is similar to IMS infrasound array, such as Korean, Japanese, American, and so on, the article only takes IMS infrasound array as an example to summarize infrasound array layout and wind noise reduction system of the international infrasonic array.International, most of the infrasonic arrays are small aperture with multi sub-nodes, which has three major dispositions, including four sub-nodes array, eight sub-nodes array and nine sub-nodes array; the wind noise reduction system is composed of a low impedance air inlet, a guide pipe and a composite chamber, which has four main kinds, like rosette, star, hexagonal closed pack and radial. Interiorly, most of infrasound arrays are wide-area arrays and only a few experimental array is small aperture with many sub-nodes.Both of them are not deployed with wind noise reduction systems.Moreover, this paper summarized the research achievements of the seismic monitoring and prediction applied the infrasound observation data.At abroad, these researches mainly focused on identification analysis of coseismic infrasound, including epicentral infrasound, diffraction infrasound and local infrasound.In addition, related infrasound signals are used to locate infrasound sources and analyze the impact of ground motion. At home,earthquake infrasound research mainly concentrated in the previous seismic infrasound,which is applied to predict earthquakes. The results show that the construction of seismic infrasound monitoring array and the arrangement of wind noise reduction system should be further strengthened in the future at home,which is more beneficial to obtain infrasound cross-correlation signal and improve data signal-to-noise ratio. More and more Chinese researchers should continue to explore their study ideas. While we are paying attention to the research of preearthquake infrasound,we should be further strengthen the analysis of coseismic infrasound,which is more conducive to tracking the latest trend of seismic infrasound research and expanding the new field of seismic infrasound research.
