Abstract:The internal higher education quality assurance system in England,as a scheme adopted by University of Oxford,is characteristic of establishment of a professional quality assurance agency on the university level,formulation of a quality assurance handbook based on requirements of institutional audit organized by Quality Assurance Agency,special attention to external examiners' and students' participation,and focus on regular monitoring from colleges,academic faculties and departments.The University's adoption of an internal quality assurance provides valuable implications for China's higher education institutions.
