Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to explore the operational model and realization strategy of archives taking part in the digital protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage(ICH)in digital era.As the public cultural organizations,Archives have the duty to participate in the digital protection of ICH,which will optimize archives' collection structure of and improve their public service capacity.The operational model for archives' participating in the digital protection of ICH should entail definite and accurate Location And Objectives,multi-level production and services,and diversity operational mechanism.Based on the analysis of the main forms of archives' participating in digital protection of ICH,the authors suggest that our archival departments should adopt following strategies to amplify and promote their public service functions:(1)cooperation with libraries,museums,cultural centers and other public cultural institutions;(2) exploring diversity operational mechanism of digital protection;(3)providing digital services of ICH to the public,etc.
