Abstract:Who is the first person to initiate Chinese poetic movies? What kind of poetic impressions have poetic movies evoked people in the last century of drastic changes of Chinese movies? And can we hold on to the poetic sky,keeping more stars of lyric sentiment twinkling in the gloomy distance and making more people aware of the true spirit of Chinese movies,at a time of commercialization in the moviedom? …China is a country of poetic heritage,which gives more freedom to visual techniques in creating meanings beyond images and harmonizing emotions with scenes.This proves valuable to the development of and exploration in poetic movies.This paper addresses the unique property and aesthetic meaning of the poetic expressions in the tortuous history of Chinese movies.
