Abstract:The innovative and dynamic nature of E-business enables small companies to compete with multinational corporations via online marketing. This paper serves as a guide from a practitioner’s perspective to embark in E-business while traditional marketing strategies are diminished. Three E-business adoption models for small enterprises are discussed. Planning involving new media, Internet technological capabilities and marketing strategies are examined. A literature review on new media gives a comprehensive study of online marketing. To evaluate the effectiveness of the E-business approach, a case study of a family chain of hotels is presented.

Abstract:Small and medium-sized enterprises have provided important support to the development of China's foreign trade. Especially with the continuous development of Internet technology, a new type of cross-border e-commerce trade has emerged, which has brought new space for the development of foreign trade to small and medium-sized enterprises. However, SMEs are also faced with various cross-border e-commerce development problems, such as the lack of high-quality talents and diversified marketing models, which make it difficult for SMEs to develop cross-border e-commerce smoothly. Therefore, this paper first analyzes the development status of cross-border e-commerce in small and medium-sized enterprises, and then expounds the development problems of cross-border e-commerce faced by small and medium-sized enterprises, and based on this, puts forward corresponding solutions.

Abstract:Enterprises across the People’s Republic of China (China) seek to gain the benefits of electronic business, but very few of their electronic commerce (e-commerce) initiatives have been successful to date. A recent multiple case study examined some of the exceptions. This paper illustrates the distinctive nature of e-commerce with Chinese characteristics by profiling an online retailer, a traditional B2B intermediary, and an electronic marketplace or marketspace. Their key success factors were found to include the abilities to leverage core capabilities and to overcome institutional deficiencies through relationship building. The prospects for e-commerce in mainland China are related to the development of the rules and infrastructure that are fundamental to a modern market economy.

Abstract:China became the second largest Internet market and the biggest mobile phone market in the world in 2002. It is estimated that with China’s entry to the WTO, its commitments to liberalization in the telecommunication and financial services sectors will spur e‐commerce development in this country. The growing popularity of the telephone, the increased number of internet users, and the extensive competition in the telecommunications industry are all prerequisites for E‐commerce development, but they do not indicate the existence of expansion of the same pace in e‐commerce. There are multiple factors that contribute to the slow development of e‐commerce in China. The focus of e‐commerce in China will be different than it is in Europe and America because of the difference in traditional business models, conventional consumer behaviors, and consumer expectations. This paper analyzes the factors that have significant impact on the E‐commerce development. The paper is aimed to help businesses that want to expand e‐business in China to understand China’s e‐commerce development, its uniqueness, and its obstacles.

Abstract:Under the Belt and Road Initiative, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Guangdong have demonstrated significant potential and opportunities in cross-border e-commerce. However, these enterprises also face several challenges, such as an imperfect logistics system, severe market homogenization, and a mismatch in talent supply and demand. To address these issues, this paper proposes a set of countermeasures, including the development of a diversified logistics system, strengthening brand innovation, optimizing electronic payment systems, and cultivating professional talents. These measures aim to promote the healthy development of SMEs in cross-border e-commerce in Guangdong and enhance cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road.

It can make up for the disadvantages in terms of capital, brand, channel and cost, and help small and medium-sized foreign trade companies to convert, upgrade and develop. While accelerating the development of modern economy, as a new form of international trade development and e-commerce across borders, most SMEs attach great importance to it. Although this new model is in the early childhood of China, the support and attention of the government and enterprises really make it develop toward China's future foreign trade development. E-Commerce Adoption and the Dynamics of the SMEs Cluster: Evidence from Zhili Children's Garment Town, China

Abstract:Despite the increasing importance of e-commerce adoption in a digital economy, its impacts on the functioning and dynamics of traditional industrial clusters are not yet touched. This exploratory study of the actual practices of e-commerce adoption and its impacts on a traditional town-based cluster in China unfolds an intriguing trajectory that does not conform to popular perceptions of e-commerce studies. It is found that e-commerce adoption neither depreciates local production networks between clustering SMEs nor changes the way of knowledge circulation and utility within the cluster. Trust relations created by geographical and relational proximity cannot be achieved by either electronic communications or online transactions. However, e-commerce adoption does start to alter the inter-dependent relationship between clustering firms and local specialized market by diversifying marketing channels of clustering SMEs and more easily targeting and accessing to individual customers. Findings of this research contribute to the debate over the pattern of trust-building in a digital era and to the discussion on local buzz and virtual buzz.

Abstract:Based on the theory of information economics,this paper sets up a mathematical model to analyze a new credit pattern in China that allows SMEs to get access to bank loans through E-commerce. In traditional credit patterns,credit rationing of SMEs occurs due to asymmetric information,since the contract consisting of collaterals and interest rate can not fully screen different types of SMEs. The introduction of E-commerce solves this problem under certain conditions,since it is able to increase firms’default cost,alleviate information asymmetry and enhance risk sharing. It is proved that low risk SMEs that are rationed from financing in traditional credit patterns are capable of obtaining bank loans when E-commerce is present. Comparative statics concerning the features of E-commerce are conducted and policy implications are put forward based on the model. This paper lays the microeconomic foundation for the effects of E-commerce on the improvement of SMEs’financing in China.

Abstract:Electronic commerce has allowed businesses to grow globally by breaking down barriers that many believed could not be overcome. Although large companies often outperform small and medium-sized businesses, e-commerce allows them to compete with them in some areas. Surprisingly, there is a lack of theoretical evidence regarding e-commerce net benefits for a small and medium-sized business that operates in the context of Business-to-Business. We expand the previous model of information system success by analyzing the role of game dynamics and user satisfaction in the intention to use e-commerce and its net benefits in the success of the new e-commerce platform. To help predict the success of a new e-commerce platform we collect 522 responses from a pool of clients of a small company that sells products to Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafes. Ease of use is the main variable that affects customer satisfaction and their intention to use e-commerce The company will only achieve e-commerce net benefits if these conditions are met. The results contribute to a better understanding of e-commerce net benefits while developing a new e-commerce platform and provide valuable practical contributions for small companies that have limited marketing and information systems.

However, due to the lack of systematic marketing strategies, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises is beset with difficulties. From the perspective of marketing strategy, this paper analyzes the marketing strategy problems faced by small and medium-sized enterprises.
