Abstract:A rite remains of Western Han was found in a recent archeological excavation in Luantingshan,Lixian,Gansu Province.Zhi rite is an unique memorial rite originated from Qin Dynasty to commemorate the heaven, the earth and the Agriculture God,and it was later inherited by Han and they then started other forms of rites.By the comparison of the relics from the description of the documents and from the remains,it’s well believed that Luantingshan remains is Xizhi set up by Qinxianggong in 770 BC.All the memorial objects, the architectural characteristics and the memorial rites can verify the existence of Zhisi and they can further confirm that Xichui and Xixian of Qin and Han Dynasty is Lixian County,Gansu province. These findings are very valuable to the research on the culture history of the earlier rites and the history of early Qin Dynastry.
