Construction of ecologically-civilized city: from the perspective of water

Abstract:Research and study on creating ecologically-civilized city from the perspective of water is a new idea,topic,direction and target for water administrator or manager.The importance and necessity of water as a guarantee for the construction of ecologically-civilized city are presented.The introduction of concept of ecologically civilized city can be integrated into the whole process of water management,as it can be a key technology for ecological improvement from water point of view,by taking the carrying capacity of water resources and water environment as the base,the law of nature as the criterion,and the goals of sustainable utilization of water resources,health of aquatic ecosystems system,optimal selection of water project,coordinated development of water environment and economy,and effective water management system as main objectives.Finally,it calls for efforts of building a beautiful China.
