Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the anti-inflammation and analgesic effects of the extract of hawthorn leaf.MethodsThe 80 mice were randomly divided into control group and small,middle,large dosage groups,and the extract of Hawthorn leaf were given orally.Swelling degrees of ear thickness induced by xylene and number of times of mice twisting body response induced by acetic acid were measured.ResultsSwelling induced by xylene in the ear of mice was inhibited and frequency of twisting body response induced by acetic acid was reduced with using Hawthorn leaf.There was significant difference between control group and small,middle,large dosage groups.ConclusionExtract of Hawthorn leaf has certain accuse inflammation and analgesic effects.
