Respiratory Management in Perioperative Nursing of Surgical Treatment in Aged Patients with Lung Cancer

Abstract:Objective: To explore the method of respiratory management in perioperative nursing of aged patients with lung cancer. Methods: Based on the generally perioperative nursing of patients with lung cancer, strengthening of the pre-, post-operative respiratory management was important in aged patient with poor pulmonary function. Results: In 42 over-70-year-old patients with lung cancer and poor pulmonary function, one patient with severe ventilation dysfunction before operation died of postoperative respiratory failure combined with pulmonary infection, with the mortality rate of 2.38%(1/42) . Conclusion: Strengthening of the perioperative respiratory management can effectively prevent and decrease the occurrence of postoperative complication, and improve the postoperative quality of life in aged patients with poor pulmonary function.
