Abstract:Based on the method of the documentary,interview and on-the spot investigation,this paper analyzes the situation of sports facility construction in the commercial residential communities in Hangzhou city.The result shows that floor space of sports facility in majority new residential communities can meet the under-standard set by government,but minority new residential areas can meet the up-standard.On the whole,the author thinks that sports facilities in Hangzhou new city residential areas doesn't meet thee public increasing needs for sport activities,what are the troubles of plan and management of the new residential areas,points out some trouble which needs settle right away.Corresponding suggestions are benefit to the supporting facilities construction of the commercial residential communities in Hangzhou city.

Abstract:AbstrcatThe trees and grass species of urban forest in Yan'an were investigated and evaluated,and the result show that there are 113 species,35 families of plant in the urban forest which can't satisfy the diversity in plants.The ratio of arbor,shrub and grass in the urban forest isn't reasonable,and the visual effect of the city park is regarded as the important thing,neglecting the function of the city park in improving the eco-environment.Therefore suggestions are put forward.

Abstract:This article mainly discusses the evaluation and optimization of the green space utilization value of comprehensive parks used by people in dense urban areas based on the desire for green and healthy living in the postepidemic era. As a qualitative study of urban parks, this study builds an evaluation system based on the American landscape performance series and combines it with comprehensive indicators of China's urban parks, including environmental performance (such as park planning, infrastructure, trails, and vegetation), health performance (such as cultural education, park activities, and transportation accessibility) economic performance (such as tourist consumption and stimulating the development of surrounding construction) and three other aspects: conducting a site evaluation; evaluating observed behavior, interviews and questionnaires; and performing the analytic hierarchy process-coefficient of variation weight comprehensive evaluation analysis. Additionally, the park comprehensive index, land use index, traffic convenience, park vitality index and other dynamic changes are analyzed over time. The purpose is to explore the foundation of urban parks after the epidemic. The role of the urban park environment in sustainable ecological development is verified, and appropriate optimization and improvement actions are determined.

Abstract:This paper analyzes the POE method in the application of parks,and uses this method to investigate the usage status of Tanghe Park in Qinhuangdao.By observing the activities of park users, interviewing the users and administrators,and extending sampling questionnaires,the usage status of Tanghe Park was acquired.After sorting out and analyzing the data,the paper affirms the design of the park,and meanwhile,provides some improvement measures.Finally,the paper summarizes the positive effects of the POE method,including reflecting the user's needs objectively,evaluating the effect of design,strengthening the link between urban construction and design education.

Abstract:Abstract From the perspective of users, the post-occupancy evaluation of Saihan Tara City Park in Inner Mongolia is carried out. This article analyzes the landscape quality and social benefits of various scenic spots in the park, provides a theoretical basis for the construction and development of urban parks in the later period, and plays an exemplary role in the evaluation of other city parks in Baotou and the later operation strategies. We use online comments for data collection and dig deeper into user comment text information. This article using semantic network analysis, analyzes Saihan Tara attraction’s popularity, landscape quality, basic facilities, and other aspects of multi-dimensions and shows its deficiencies. The results show that the internal scenic spots of Saihan Tara City Park have Mongolian characteristics, which are the main factors that attract tourists to come to play; abundant scenic spots and various recreation methods are the main reasons for the high satisfaction of tourists; and at the same time, many problems have also arisen, such as poor interconnection between scenic spots, low accessibility of park entrances and internal scenic spots, relatively monotonous amusement modes, and unreasonable consumption levels in the park...Therefore, this research not only evaluates the post-use condition of urban parks, but also can be widely used in the evaluation of urban public green space using conditions, and provides the evaluation results to the government as a guide for the construction of urban public green spaces in the future.

Abstract:Recreation level is an important indicator of measuring designing and management level of urban comprehensive park's dedicated sports space.Following the principle of scientificity,pertinence,operability,comprehensiveness and objectivity,the study determines 18 dedicated sports spaces of 13 parks for survey object.As survey results displayed,Shanghai comprehensive parks have low degree of diversification in sports events,low recreation level in dedicated sports spaces.Using the method of analytic hierarchy process and multi-indicator comprehensive index,from space,facilities,environment and landscape the study selects 13 indicators to construct evaluation system and applies it to evaluate the recreation level of Kangjian Park's dedicated sports space.The study draws a conclusion that more attention should be paid to security and parkization of sports space.

Abstract:Abstract As essential elements of green spaces and social spaces in cities, urban parks significantly improve the quality of life and promote urban sustainability. Research on the development process of urban parks can be meaningful for coping with the current issues and future opportunities facing cities. This study takes Zhengzhou as the case aiming to outline the development process and characteristics of urban parks within the city. We adopted the empirical analysis to review the evolution processes and trends of Zhengzhou’s urban parks from the perspective of implementation approaches, spatial layout, and functions and uses. Results reveal four subsequent phases: the emergence phase (1949–1977), the growth phase (1978–1996), the acceleration phase (1997–2012), and the promotion phase (after 2012), according to the periods of urban development and the opportunities for green space development. The discussion includes development issues and strategies regarding land use approaches, user group needs, and public participation. The findings may help formulate adaptive and effective policies and planning tools for urban parks and provide a basis for further research on urban parks and Zhengzhou’s road to the ideal “Park City”.

Abstract:Methods of on-site investigation and data collection were used to study landscape plants in 10 parks of Chengdu.The characterics of application and improvement suggestions for landscape plants in each place were analyzed from the aspects of plant species, living form, orna-mental features, rare or endangered and toxic type and so on.This article tried to offer a proposal for improving application of landscape plants. The results indicated that:there were plentiful species in Chengdu parks which belong to 331 genera, 134 families, and 437 species;there were a lot of flowers and fruits throughout the year and flowering plants were everywhere.But some types of plants were used fewer such as vines, a-quatic plants, rare and endangered plants and color-leafed plants, the toxic landscape plants were used commonly.So some suggestions were pro-posed such as the wetland space plant landscape could be richer, the utilization efficiency of the vertical space should be improved, color-leafed plants could be planted more than ever, the natural education activities should launch plentifully.

Abstract:Water experience space provides many water recreation activities,such as watching,listening,playing and it has both culture and ecology in waterfront space.This paper summarizes the characteristics of water experience space through a large number of literature research and case study.The water experience space quality evaluation model was established by AHP analytic hierarchy process.The water experience space of Binjiang Park in Pudong,Shanghai was taken as an example to evaluate its advantages and disadvantages in water affinity and comfort and beauty sensibility,and put forward the pertinent improvement suggestion,which has the reference value to the research and practice of the Binjiang green space water experience space.

Abstract:With the development of the urban park, people's cognition of the relationship between the environment and public health has been improved, and higher requirements for the living environment have been put forward. As an important group of park users, youths often have different needs regarding the health benefits brought by urban parks. To explore the potential relationship among youth's satisfaction with urban parks, their usage behavior, and health benefit perception, this article presents some constructive suggestions for the development of healthy landscapes in urban parks. Researchers have selected five typical urban parks from different areas in Qingdao, China. Furthermore, we have used the survey method by combining the practices of "issuing questionnaires, observing and interviewing" with the goal of collecting data on 500 park visitors in autumn, including information on social demography, the satisfaction of park landscape variables, and usage behavior and health perception. A linear regression model has been used to analyze the correlation among "landscape variables," "usage behavior," and "health benefit perception." Results have shown that urban green landscapes and waterscapes can significantly affect youth's social health perception and static behavior. Moreover, static behaviors such as relaxation have a great impact on mental health perception. The results of this study will be beneficial in understanding youth's needs for landscapes when using urban parks. In addition, it will provide insight for the urban planners and landscape designers to design urban parks from the perspective of youth.

Abstract:quantitative and qualitative study on waterscape area of synthesis parks in Shanghai were conducted to find its special and potential laws and to save water resource.The relationship between the waterscape area and related factors of park were investigated with Google earth and park plan.The results showed that waterscape of synthesis parks in Shanghai had three essential features as follows:water resources near the park had little impacts,waterscape percentage in formal park was significantly less than in natural park,and there was a significant linear regression relation among waterscape area,total area and green area.According to The Park Design Code,the equations between the percentage of waterscape and percentage of green space were set up,and calculated result showed that the percent range of water area was from 19% to 24.9%.This result provides scientific basis for park waterscape quantification design and study in Shanghai and surrounding areas.

Abstract:Urban parks improve the quality of urban ecological environment and residents' physical and mental health. Existing studies have measured their spatial distribution in terms of accessibility or quality, however, this is not effective. Here, this study developed a spatial distribution assessment framework for urban parks, which included four dimensions: convenient degree (D-1), crowded degree (D-2), diversity of choices (D-3), and service quality (D-4). Taking Beijing as an example, we analyzed the difference in park distribution and found that park distribution is relatively equitable except for convenient degree. However, there are significant differences from the city center to the periphery. The inner-city area has better convenience, while the middle areas have more choices, and the outer ring performs better in terms of D-2 and D-4. There are significant gaps among communities with different housing prices. We found a gentrification trend within the Low, Middle-Low, and High price groups when analyzing the intra-group differences. This study can help urban planners and policymakers to better identify the gaps in park distribution and provide directions for optimizing the layout.

Abstract:As a form of urban green space,wetland park plays an important role in the process of building the city.To evaluate the quality of the plants within the park would help the researcher to grasp the status of urban wetland landscape construction as a whole,and then provide theoretical guidance for urban wetland park design.Using analytic hierarchy process(AHP),this study constructed a comprehensive structural model to evaluate the park both qualitatively and quantitatively.The model established was then applied in Sanmenxia Swan Lake Wetland Park.The results showed that there were 4 communities of plantscape that belonged to levelⅠ(13.5),4 for levelⅡ(12~13.5),9 for level Ⅲ(10.5~12),only one for levelⅣ.Most plots located in the first three levels,indicating that the wetland park had a high overall quality of plantscape.The evaluation results were basically consistent with the survey results.

Abstract:Urban parks can offer a variety of ecosystem services such as beautifying the landscape, ecological regulation, leisure and recreation, and maintaining biodiversity. Understanding how urban parks affect people's lives can help guide the construction and planning of parks in a direction that is more beneficial to the public. Therefore, it is worth studying the extent to which different urban parks with different characteristics affect public behaviour and preferences. This paper takes five typical urban parks in Chengdu and analyses the relationship between characteristics of the park ecosystem and public behaviour and preferences. The characteristics include the park scale, blue-green space ratio, plant diversity, and degree of re-wilding. Visit frequency, stay time, and park preference characterise public behaviour and preferences. The results show: (1) There are obvious differences in the ecosystem characteristics of the five parks: Qinglong Lake Wetland Park is the largest; the proportion of blue-green space in Jiangjiayiyuan Garden is the highest; the degree of re-wilding in Bailuwan Wetland Park is the highest; the proportion of green space and plant diversity in Guixi Ecological Park is the highest; and the proportion of blue space in Jincheng Lake Wetland Park is the highest. (2) There are differences in public behaviour and preferences for different parks. Tourists visit Qinglong Lake Wetland Park the most in spring and autumn and they choose Guixi Ecological Park instead in summer and winter. The public stays longer in Qinglong Lake Wetland Park and shorter in Jincheng Lake Wetland Park. (3) The scale of urban parks, the proportion of blue-green space, and the degree of re-wilding, especially the proportion of blue space, have a positive impact on the public's evaluation and promote public visits. The results of the study could help improve public awareness of the relationship between park characteristics and ecological services and well-being.

Abstract:With China's urban renewal, parks have developed into significant green recreational areas in cities. This paper analyzed social media texts and compared the evaluation outcomes of the 50 most popular urban parks in Beijing from various perspectives, such as the characteristics of various groups of people, park types, and the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of recreational activities. The importance–performance analysis method was used to analyze the main factors affecting visitors' satisfaction with parks. The research found the following: (1) Positive evaluation of parks was related to environmental construction, event organization, etc., and negative evaluations focused on ticket supply, consumer spending, etc. (2) Visitors of different genders and from different regions focused on different aspects of parks. (3) In terms of traffic accessibility, historical and cultural display, parent–child activity organization, and ecological environment experience, people had diverse demands from various types of parks. (4) People were more likely to visit parks located within the range of all green belts in springs and parks located in the second green isolation belt in the fall. (5) The number of non-holiday reviews of parks was higher than that of holiday reviews. (6) Managers could improve visitor satisfaction by improving the infrastructure and management of parks.

Evaluation of Urban Park Service Quality Based on Factor Analysis

Abstract:Urban park is an important component of urban public green space which provides leisure, recreation, activity place, etc. Urban park service quality was evaluated by quantitative method in this paper to provide scientific evidence for renewal and development of urban park. 5 urban parks in Xinxiang, Henan province, China were selected as evaluation samples, and 13 indexes were evaluated, including plant landscape, cultural experience, activity place, ecological environment, road design, topographical management, fitness facilities, water landscape, service facility, night landscape, landscape aesthetics, information mark and shelter landscape. Then the data were analyzed by factor analysis. Results: the information contained in the 13 evaluation indexes had considerable repeatability. Therefore, 5 main factors including landscape elements, sports and entertainment, cultural quality, ecology and night scene and traffic facilities were extracted which accounted for 80.881% of total variation. The number of factor variables was far less than the number of index variables, which reduced the complexity of evaluation and indicated that factor analysis had good dimension-reducing effect. Based on the results of factor analysis, not only the contribution rate of each index and each factor in the park service quality evaluation, but also single factor scores and comprehensive scores in different parks could be obtained, which facilitated the analysis and comparison of service quality of different parks. Our work can provide support for urban park renewal, reconstruction and development, thereby promoting the urban park service quality.
