Hybrid effects of Yingshan and Lezhi black goats

Abstract:The present study investigated the improve performance traits of the hybrid(Lezhi black goats×Yingshan black goats).The body height,the body length,the circumference,the chest width and cannon circumference of 6-month-old goat of the Le×Ying hybrid goat and the two type goats were determined respectively.Meanwhile,the study had also determined the body weight of 2,6,12 and 24-month-old hybrid F1 goats.The results indicated that all indexes of the hybrid F1 goats were higher than Yingshan black goats significantly(P<0.05).Compare to Yingshan black goats,the body height,stem length,the body weight,the circumference and the chest width of 6-month-old hybrid F1 rams increased significantly 23.3%,25.2%,18.4%,38.9% and 27.7%(P <0.01) respectively.The body height,the body length,the body weight,the circumference and the cannon circumference of the hybrid F1 increased significantly 19.3%,21.7%,22.7%,26.4% and 13.0%(P<0.01) respectively,and the chest width of the ewe increased significantly 6.2%(P<0.05).The conclusion showed the performance trait of hybrid goats was improved significantly.
