Empirical Research on Chinese Enterprise Strategic Alliance Partners Characters Matching Standard

Abstract:Alliance partner mismatching is the key factor that causes the alliance failure.Based on the documentation research,this paper makes a concrete analysis of matching standards of strategy alliance partners' characters,especially analyzing the impacts of alliance performance from resources complementary,strategy goal,enterprise culture and relationship before making the alliance.Meanwhile,the model to estimate alliance partners' matching status was built up;through discussion and questionnaire investigation,lots of sample data were collected,which verified the model of alliance partners' matching status.The results show that resources complementary,strategy goal,enterprise culture and relationship before making the alliance are most important indicators to make alliance for Chinese enterprises,but Chinese enterprises often do not paid attention on strategy goal matching during making the alliance.
