Abstract:Objective:To investigate the ultrasound methods and features of forearm interosseous membrane(IOM).Methods:56 forearms from 28 cases were compared with both transverse and longitudinal views when changing positions.Results:The intact IOM of 56 cases all showed a continuous linear and hyperechoic structure between the radius and ulna with both transverse and longitudinal views.The thickness of IOM had no marked difference while changing positions.Conclusion:Ultrasonography can clearly demonstrate the structure of the IOM,and it is a effective method to diagnose IOM injury.
