Abstract:This paper reviews the literatures about neurotensin and its receptors and pain regulation,stress analgesia,neurotensin and its receptors are involved in the process of non-opioid peptides and opioid receptor-dependent stress analgesia.The combination of NT and neurotensin receptors,which are critically involved in the activation of the hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenal axis(HPA) that reduces pain sensitivity through releasing hormonal regulation mechanisms,finally,induces stress-induced analgesia.
