SURVEY ON THE CURRENT STATUS OF COGNITIVE DISORDER AMONG 621 PATIENTS WITH CEREBRAL ARTERIAL THROMBOSIS AND ITS INFLUENCING FACTORS

Abstract:[Objective]To investigate current status of cognitive disorder among patients with cerebral arterial thrombosis and its influencing factors.[Methods]The mini-mental state examination scale(MMSE)was performed to investigate 621 patients with cerebral arterial thrombosis in 23 hospitals of provincial(municipal)levels or higher levels in China,and statistical analysis was performed by SPSS 13.0 software.[Results]Among 621 patients with cerebral arterial thrombosis,183 patients of them had cognitive disorder with the incidence of 29.47%. The incidence of cognitive disorder among these patients with hypertension,diabetes or hyperlipoidemia was significantly higher than that of normal patients with cerebral arterial thrombosis(P﹤0.01).[Conclusion]The incidence of cognitive disorder among patients with cerebral arterial thrombosis revealed to be high,while which is associated with the hypertension,diabetes and hyperlipoidemia,therefore,comprehensive measures should be taken for these diseases to reduce the incidence of cognitive disorder.
