Abstract:Information era makes computer be popularized largely and its related knowledge must be mastered for students. Therefore, basic education of computer is a required course for all colleges and all majors. However, such courses do not receive ideal effect. Besides, most students lack interest and initiative in computer basic courses. Abstract:With the requirement of the latest developments in computer and basic computer course at the University and the guiding ideology ," to further strengthen the views of Computer Teaching in Higher Education" that proposed by the Ministry of Education in Computer Basic Course Steering Committee, our university put forward the thought of compilation, "urgent need knowledge first, practice guidance, case driven, inductive learning", after we made many research, and referenced many teaching materials written by other universities, and under the guidance of training applicative talents that put forward by our school, that is, "solid basic theory, strong ability to adapt to society and practice", and based on the principle of "solid and sufficient, scientific and advanced, steady and flexible", we study and develop a set of three-dimensional Basic college courses materials facing applicative talents, in order to develop students' basic computer skills and ability of practical application and creative spirit. ©2010 IEEE.

Abstract:Based on the current situation of the college computer basic course in a university of Hunan Province as the background,the paper,through investigating the professional background,knowledge structure,teaching effect and personal developed prospect of the college computer basic course’s teachers,pointed out the problems bringing by using professional computer teachers to teach the college computer basic course,afterwards the paper put forward the viewpoint that the college computer basic course should be closed combined with the relevant specialized subjects,and college computer basic teaching should be giving by relevant specialized teachers as a solution,which is used to provide a teaching reference for promoting the overall teaching level of the college computer basic course.
