Dynamic Changes of Nitric Oxide and Nitric Oxide Synthase Activity in Lung Tissue of Balb/c Mice

Abstract:The objective of this study was to explore the changes of nitric oxide and nitric oxide synthase activity in the lung tissue of Balb/c mice under normal condition.Nitric oxide was measured by electron spin resonance(ESR)directly and the activity of nitric oxide synthase(NOS)was measured by spectrophotometer.The results showed that the concentration of NO,the activity of NOS in the lung tissue of Balb/c mice did not show any significant difference on day 3,6,7,12(P0.05).The results indicated that the generation of NO free radical in the lung tissue of Balb/c mice remains dynamic balance.
