Abstract:We study first the properties of magnetized water by infrared absorption and Raman spectra and other ways. The results obtained show that the magnetized water has a saturation and memory effects, the electromagnetic and optic parameters of magnetized water, including the dielectric constant, and refractive index are increased, the magnetized effect is decreased with increasing of temperature of water, but its molecular structure and the hydrogen bonded chains among these molecules have not been changed after magnetization. These properties relate to special structures of water molecules. From the studies of properties of polarization of water molecules and first order phase transition as well as the infrared absorption and Raman spectra of water we know that there are a great number of closed hydrogen-bonded chains in water. From the theory of proton conductivity in the hydrogen-bonded chains in ice, which are verified by the experiments of electric conductivity of ice and its temperature-dependence, we convince that the magnetization of water is caused by proton transfer in the closed hydrogen-bonded chains. These ring electric-current loops resemble to "the molecular electric-currents" or "small magnets" in the solids, can interact with other each and to an externally applied magnetic-field. Then the water molecules in the closed chains can be orderly arrayed due to these magnetic interactions, thus water is magnetized. In such a case the properties of water are changed, which are demonstrated in a lot of experiments, but the effect of magnetization of water is small.
