Modification of the Relevant Parameter of ASME B31G Standard Based on Pipeline Blast Test

Abstract:Standard of ASME B31G is such a standard to evaluate residual intensity of pressure pipeline which containing volume defect and this article apply this standard to calculate the residual intensity of existing pipeline of nature gas central gathering station in Jingbian area,and also modify calculation method in ASME B31G from two aspects of mises equivalent stress and flow stress aiming at the conservative test result in comparison with hydraulic pressure blast test,and considering the application scope of the B31G standard.All results shown that the modifying result is more close to testing result, and reduce the conservatism of original standard,as well guarantee definite security scope.
