Study of Psychosomatic Health and Risk Factors of National Defense Senior

Abstract:Objective To investigate the status and influential factors of psychosomatic health of national defense senior,develop psychological intervention and improve the level of psychosomatic health.Methods By random cluster sampling.161national defense senior and 88 new national defense undergraduates were selected.They were tested by a Chinese Military Psychosomatic Health Scale(CMPHS) and The Military Mental Disorders Prediction Scale.Then employing SPSS statistic 17.0 program for data analysis by T-test,correlation analysis,stepwise regression analysis,and path analysis.Results The level of breathing system,digestive system,reproductive endocrine system,the skin department,psychosomatic health total score and mental health score had significant difference(P<0.05 or 0.01).There were positive correlation between anxiety,depression psychosomatic health total score,mental health score and growing experience,personality introverted,psychological defense maladjustment,absence of social support,stressor(P<0.05 or 0.01),between body health score and family or past medical history,growing experience,personality introverted,psychological defense maladjustment,absence of social support and stressor(P<0.01).Family or past medical history,personality introverted,psychological defense maladjustment,、absence of social support and stressor was elected to the regression equation by psychosomatic health total score,mental health score,body health score,anxiety and depression(P<0.05 or 0.01),The explanation for variances of independent variables were 0.50、0.44、0.33、0.41,and 0.40.Conclusion The national defense seniors has poorer psychosomatic health level;Psychological defense maladjustment,family or past medical history,personality introverted,absence of social support and stressor was influential factor in psychosomatic health;mental health is the bridge between the risk factors of The Military Mental Disorders and somatic health.
