Design of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Spindle Motor Control System

Abstract:A vector control system using TMS320F2812 digital signal processor(DSP) as the main chip for the permanent magnet synchronous spindle motor(PMSM) was proposed,which utilized the vector control priciple and the space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) method in order to decouple and control the d-q axis currents separately.Based on this,the flux-weaking control algorithm was realized through a d-axis control method based on the saturation extent of outer voltage loop,which extended the speed range of the permanent magnet synchronous spindle motor control system.The control system consists of the main power circuit,the control circuit,isolation circuit,signal detection and regulating circuit,the auxiliary power supply,display and the parameter setting circuit.It is verified through experiments that the control system is reliable,and the static and dynamic performance meets the application requirements of the CNC machine tool spindle drive.
