A New Type of Enhanced Primary Sewage Treatment Through Catalyzed-iron Internal Electrolysis Process with Aeration

Abstract:Catalyzed-iron internal electrolysis process with aeration is a new type of enhanced primary treatment of sewage. It is proved by the shaker test and pilot test that the average elimination rates of chemical oxygen demand (COD), total phosphorus and phosphate are lower than the se- condary discharge standard for urban sewage treatment works. Finally, an analysis is made of the operation cost, showing that the operation is simple and stable, with much lower cost.
