Abstract:Brain-targeting non-viral gene delivery systems could efficiently mediate gene drugs to cross blood-brain barrier and reach the diseased regions.Many researches have demonstrated that enhanced brain accumulation and gene expression could be achieved via appropriate mechanisms such as specific ligand-receptor binding function.In this review,progress on brain-targeting non-viral gene delivery systems mainly based on receptor-and adsorptive-mediated mechanisms is reviewed.
