Abstract:Described a modular design procedure of reconfigurable machine,based on screw theory and graph theory.In this theory,by analyzing of the task,constructed the topology structure of reconfigurable machine to carry out a given machining task,then the machine was constructed from a set of modules.This theory was composed of four modules:mathematic modeling,task clarification,topology construction,module selection.The modeling of reconfigurable machine was finished by software.
