Studies on the Anti-ageing Actions of the Extracts from Rosa Rugosa

Abstract:In the present researches,Drosophila melanogaster was introduced as the model that was used to investigate the antioxidant activities and anti-ageing actions of F_(21) from Rosa Rugosa.By the life span experiment with a mass of swatches and repetitions,it was testified that F_(21) obviously increased the average and the longest lifespan of treated fruit fly.After Drosophila melanogaster were treated with F_(21)(0.2% concentration),the content of Lipofus- cin obviously decreased compared to control group,while the flight frequency obviously in- creased.The activities of CAT and SOD increased after fruit fly was treated with F_(21).
