Abstract:Ant colony algorithm has strong robustness and self learning ability as novel optimization,and it has a very wide range of applications in the clustering.This paper designs and implements an ant colony clustering algorithm based on the principle of ant heap.Because the ant colony clustering algorithm has the disadvantages that the result is susceptible to be interfered with redundancy attributes and the time efficiency is very low,an improvement is proposed which is calculating information gain of attributes to remove redundant attributes and implement data dimensionality reduction.The experimental result shows that clustering result of algorithm is significant and increases time efficiency.
