Abstract:There have been many reforms in university entrance examination since its renewal in 1977.Generally speaking,the reform related to examination technology is mostly easier to succeed,while the institutional reform is normally more complicated.The reform of university entrance examination should accord with Chinese national situation and the social development stages.Only when the reform conforms to the mainstream public opinion can university entrance examination gain the support of the people and have its long-term vitality.It is the reality that current university entrance examination reform should choose the mode adapting to the level of social material and civilization.The ultimate objective of the reform of university entrance examination is not to be changed into university's separate admission,or not likely to rely on the American mode of university admission examination,but to explore and establish the admission examination system suitable for the Chinese national situation with its own characteristics.
